All I could think about was yesterday. How he'd kissed my forehead. How he'd held me to his chest. How scared he looked when I cried. How genuinely concerned he seemed about me.
Oh don't be stupid. He obviously did it out of curiosity. Any human would do the same. Any man would do the same. Forget about it. He doesn't care.
My thoughts were tormenting me. The thought that he would probably do the same to Laura. But what did he mean when he called me special. Probably special in a friendly way. Friend zoned once again.

"Where's Laura?" I asked as Nico came in.
I was sat at my desk writing coursework for uni.
"She isn't feeling to well. We think it was the food"
"Being honest it tasted a bit dodgy"
"Same here. She'll be ok in a few days. Let's hope the weather doesn't get hotter"
I looked out of the window. Little ice patches had formed on the path outside my motorhome."No chance of it getting hotter. How is she in the cold?"
"What?!"
"Take a look outside" I said with a shiver.
"Great. I should have listened to her this morning when she was complaining of being cold. I'll be back in one moment"
"Ok" I giggled.
He came back ten minutes later looking flustered.
"What's wrong?!" I asked
"She keeps being sick"
"Shall I come and have a look?"
"Not unless your happy looking at something out of the exorcist!"
"I'll be fine"
I sweeped past him as he smiled.
"Are you ok Laura?" I asked. She looked dreadful "Was it the food last night? Don't say anything but give me a thumbs up or thumbs down"
She gave me a thumbs up. Great. I stayed until she finished being sick.
"Is she ok?"
"She's sleeping but she will feel better by tomorrow"
"Good. The next three days are media for me and then we're both flying straight to Australia as the race is the weekend after this"
"Ok"
I took Nico to several laborious interviews. The only one of interest was Johnny Herbert falling off of the tyre he was sitting on. That just so happened to be on camera.
"Hey Johnny" I said with tears running down my face I was laughing so much!
"Yes Sophie?" He said.
"That was caught on camera!"
Nico looked at me and smiled.
"Really?"
"Oh yeah! And Lee is going to broadcast it!"
"Oh my! I think it's time I got going!" He said, getting up and hurrying away.
Me and Nico were left sitting on the rug, crying with laughter.
"Did You see his face when you told him it's going on BBC F1?!"
"Of course I did! It was bloody priceless!"
"How did he even do that?"
"I don't know but I'm glad he did!"
