Christian folds his arms over his chest just like my father always does and I swear, it has to be all about being a father because they do it the same way too.
"So, what can we do?"
Christian leans back in his chair. "I hope my son doesn't give me problems in the future." He looks up at the sky like he's talking to God and I roll my eyes.
"Me? How is this-"
"Don't even finish that question. This is your fault because you gave them a booster. I like your idea that it could be the Russian mafia as there are many reasons for them to go against us, but we need to let them continue sending notes and we'll gather evidence."
I nod, opening my mouth to change the subject. "So, he'll be there-"
Sebastian walks into the room and takes a seat In front of Christian, interrupting our conversation.
"Can I help you, Seb?"
Sebastian sighs. "Aria won't talk to me. Can someone explain I did nothing wrong?"
Christian shakes his head. "Bring your relationship problems elsewhere. Preferably not in my work hours. This mafia is more important. Do it in your own time." He dismissed.
Sebastian's eyes widen. "Really? But when it came to you and Tate I helped you."
"That was different."
"Really? Because the last time I checked-"
Cameron and Giovanni burst into Christian's office not giving Seb a chance to finish his sentence.
Cameron slides his sunglasses on his face. "I sense drama. I'm here. You may begin."
Giovanni rolls his eyes but follows after Cam anyway.
"For fuck sake." Christian sighs. "One of you is getting fired this year. I've put up with people for way too long."
Giovanni and Cameron put their hands up.
I shake my head. "Don't have time for this." I stand from where I'm sitting and pat Cam's shoulder. "I'll be there for the club tomorrow night guys."
"Will you be the same old fun Antonio?" Gio asks.
"I'll try."
It takes time to heal.
Keeping everything in is so much harder than I thought.
I close my brother's office door and pull out my phone to call Emilia.
