I sit still as Aria curls my blonde hair.

I haven't spoken to Antonio since he arrived and I've decided to not pay much attention to our current situation.

We're attracted to each other and care about each other more than we should for a fake couple.

But I'm not the one who'll admit that first. Not at all.

When Aria finishes I stand to look for my silver heels to match my sparkly green dress.

Aria is wearing a beautiful red slim dress with an elegant off-the-shoulder sleeve and black heels. Tate wore her hair down with a black dress.

My life has changed in many ways and I'm not sure how to feel. I've never been to a mafia ball before. I was never really allowed as I wasn't associated with the mafia or invited as a date.

"Mrs Fontana." A maid bows her head. "My apologies. The men are waiting now downstairs. They said you should all get going."

Tate smiles with a nod.

We all make our way down the stairs slowly and I spot Cameron, Giovanni, Christian, Sebastian, and Antonio all downstairs in their black tuxedo.

Christian kisses Tate on the forehead whispering something to her as she reaches him and Aria walks past Sebastian and goes to hug Cameron.

My eyes drift to Antonio who is already looking at me.

The tux made him look so different. His hair was trimmed slightly which I hadn't noticed as I'd been ignoring him since he arrived.

He had a gentle expression on his face as she scanned me too.

His hands reach his tie and he clears his throat before looking away from me.

"Sir, we're all ready to go." One of the drivers announced.

Aria, Gio, and Cameron walk in front and Tate and Christian follow behind them.

Sebastian sighs and looks over at Antonio who gives him a tap on the back. "She'll come around."

"When will that be?"

Antonio grins. "Eh? Maybe in a month. Women like to be dramatic."

I turn to Antonio with a glare. "Or maybe he really hurt her feelings. He shouldn't have so he deserves it."

I walk away from the two of them and out the door and they soon follow behind me as I get into the second large car.

"Emilia has she said anything to you?" Seb asks. "Please I-"

"I won't say anything. It's not my business. I'm only hoping you work it out because I liked you both together." I stammer.

He nods and we don't say anything else for the rest of the drive.
