After packing my things and a long drive to Eastbourne, Antonio and I finally arrived at a beautiful apartment building that looked at least eight floors tall.

I have never been to Eastbourne before. But I wasn't what I was expecting at all.

Everything is so different.

It's like Rosewood but quieter. It looks so friendly and welcoming.

We drove past a beautiful street fair with little children and I had an urge to tell Antonio to stop my car so I could have a look but I didn't.

The apartment building was white concrete with large black windows and black doors on the front.

There was a doorman out front reading a newspaper with a cup of tea or something in his hands.

Antonio helps me with my suitcase. "Everything good?"

I nod.

He leads the way and the doorman smiles up at us when we reach him.

"Is that you, Antonio? I haven't seen you in ages." The old man speaks.

"Yeah, tell me about it. How are you doing, Luce?"

"Good." His gaze switches to me. "And who is this fine lady?"

Antonio points to me. "Emilia, this is Mr Luce Brentford. Luce, this is Emilia. My girlfriend." He says, hesitating when saying the last bit.

I smile. "Hi."

"Well, hello. You two have fun." He says with a suggestive smirk and Antonio rolls his eyes playfully before entering the building.

We walk to elevators and Antonio presses the floor eight.

"Is there a reason why your doorman sits outside?"

Antonio shrugs. "Eh. He does whatever. He's friendly. And knows way too much for his old age. He may act as if he doesn't understand you but, he knows everything."

I chuckle as it reminds me of my old memories with my grandfather.

When we reach the floor, there are three tall white front doors and Antonio goes to the one with the label 'twenty-three.'

He types a code and the door automatically opens.

"I'll tell you the code but I also have a spare key if you are out. But you be on your own anyway but you know, just in case."

I nod and enter the gorgeous apartment.

The entrance had many black decor.

The apartment screamed Antonio. It suited him perfectly. Antonio was very minimal and I was the total opposite.

My apartment had things all over the place and every comer filled with a decoration or a lamp or something.

But, Antonio only had a small black shoe rack with two shoes on it and a small picture frame of Christian, him, Sebastian, Giovanni, and Cameron.
