Antonio and I have been sitting in the same restaurant, sitting opposite each other for the past seven minutes.

Seven minutes of just sitting and staring at each other.

I swirl my milkshake in my hands. "So..."

Antonio clears his throat and leans back in his seat.

God, why does he look hot when he does that? And why am I thinking of him that way?

"What's the plan?" I question getting bored of the two of us pretending like we aren't in this situation.

"I have an idea but I don't know if it's a good one." He said though he sounded like he didn't like any of the words coming out of his mouth.

I shake my head. "Let's hear it. It can't be all that bad."

"I think we should date."

I almost spit out my milkshake. My eyes widen with surprise and I hold my chest for support because I may be about to choke.

"I beg your pardon?"

Antonio rolls his eyes. "I don't want this either but we don't have much of a choice. At least, if the photos reach your parents, us dating will be a good cover-up."

I nod trying to see his way of understanding.

"Fake dating. Of course. Just a show. Until we figure out who your stalker is and take him down. And potentially who's after my family and me. For all we know, they could be working together."

I almost sigh in relief.

Good.

Fake dating. All fake.

"So, how will this work?"

Antonio shrugs. "If we want the attention of your stalker, we should probably be seen out together a few times. And that will also give the people coming after me nothing to work with if we're dating."

I nod. "I guess I should probably post you on my Instagram too. You know for my followers and it's good for it to go on the media so it looks more believable."

"Yes." Antonio agrees. "But not right away. It's too bait and quick. Right after photos are sent as a threat we announce a relationship? Won't fool who's after us."

True.

I clench my hands, look out of the restaurant window and try to find something less awkward than this conversation.

I have so many questions.

When do we start? Do we tell our friends and family it's fake? What happens if we get no response back from the people after us once we announce it?

"We'll start in two days. No, we won't. If I tell the rest, they'll accidentally blab it. Especially Cam. I think Tate and Christian will clock on anyway since they know. And if we don't hear back we'll figure a plan to make them interested."
