I curse as I feel the sunlight shine directly to my eyes the moment I open them.

I forgot to close the blinds.

I sigh and prepare myself to open my eyes again. I have to shoot some content today. Aria, Tate, and I are going to this museum in a few hours. We planned it for Maya since she's had a weird obsession with historical things. I think she was enjoying the news or something.

Right before that, I'm going to go to the library and just sit and go on my computer because that's better than staying at home with some guard.

I stand, grab my wash bag and walk across the hall to the large marble bathroom.

Shivering because of the cold temperature, I drop my bag by the sink, grab my light pink toothbrush and rinse it before adding the toothpaste.

I stare at my relaxation in the black-framed mirror and I sigh. Why does my hair look like that?

Every time I have a mental breakdown I change my hair in some way and now it just looks odd. And of course, I just woke up so it's all over the place.

Last time, I cut my hair short. Then I grew back so I died it black. It suited me but I got tired so I added blonde streaks then it started turning brown and it looked awful. So I decided I'd rock my natural blonde for a bit my now I feel the urge to change it.

My hair grows long and fast. It's currently up to just below my shoulders when I had it shorter just three months ago.

Soon, I enter the large shower with the clear glass covering absolutely nothing of my body.

I wait until the water turns warm and I moan at the warm pebbles of water dropping onto my skin.

The feel instantly calms me and It feels like I spend almost half an hour when I don't take longer showers like that in the mornings.

I usually shower in the morning for ten minutes and get home to have hour-long showers.

After I shower, I wrap the white towel around my body and make my way across the hall with my slippers so my wet feet down dampen the floor.

I change into a pair of grey leggings with a white hoodie and a black t-shirt underneath.

I decide I'll probably wear my white trainers later when I leave but I make my way to the kitchen to find something to eat.

"Good morning, Tink."

I narrow my eyes. "I told you not to call me-"

I pause and scan his attire. He's. Wearing. A. Suit.

And he looks so good.

The way his shirt hugs his body. God.

He wasn't even wearing his blazer yet and he still looked so good.

My thoughts are interrupted by Antonio's loud chuckle.

"You like what you see, tink?"

I scoff and fold my arms over my chest. "What? No. I mean yes. Wait-no."

Antoni grins. "Right. Well. Work starts in two hours and I don't want to be late for my new job so I'd appreciate it if you tell me your plans so I can arrange someone for you."

"I'll be in the library. Then I'm going out with Tate and Aria."

Antonio nods. "I'll call people over or watch the library and watch you drive until you meet the girls."

"Thank you," I whisper.

He nods and takes a sip of his coffee and drops a plate in front of me. "Bacon and eggs?"

My mouth opens in surprise. "You made me breakfast?"

Antonio raises a brow. "That hard to believe, sweetheart?"

I shake my head. "Thank you. Do you want me to drive you back on my way to the library? You know, since you don't have your car."

Antonio shakes his head. "No. Just give me your keys and I'll drive us up to my office and call one of my men to drive behind you to the library so you're safe."

I nod. I take a bite of the food and moan and the sensation in my mouth.

Antonio narrows his eyes at me then his eyes stay at my mouth.

He must have regretted whatever he was thinking about because he quickly walked Into the living room to make a call and left me sitting here on the stool with bacon in my mouth.

The apartment was open plan so I could still see him but this apartment was so massive which was probably why only a few homes were in this apartment building, They're too big to fit more.

After. I only had one strip of bacon because I was genuinely hungry since I threw up all the Chinese food I ate yesterday during the night.

I tried to sleep but I felt guilt eating away a me. I called myself all kinds of names in my head.

After one bite of the egg, I decided I'd save the rest for later. Or never. It depends on my mood. Tate is likely to get me to eat something later so If I eat it, I might have too much for the day.

I have to keep my diet my mother made for me so I'll just order a salad or something.

"I'm ready," I mumbled.

Antonio nods and makes his way to the door waiting for me to put my shoes on.

"You okay?" He questions and I open my mouth but nothing leaves it.

"Emilia."

I nod quickly. "Yeah. I'm okay. Let's go. Don't want you to be late." I walk ahead of him and to the elevators.

We get down in silence and when we make it to the car we don't say a word.

I feel like it's always a small dance around our feelings.

I'm confused. Very confused and it's hurting my brain.

I let out a breath concluding.

I'm screwed.

And so are my feelings.
