"Auntie Em!" Maya's squeaky voice sounded.
"My love." I wrap my arms around her small body and pick her up. "What's up?"
"Mommy won't buy me ice cream. Can you?"
"Of course-"
"Not." Tate finishes. She narrows her eyes at her daughter. "I told you, Maya. If mommy says no that doesn't mean you can go ask another adult."
Maya frowns and Aria grins.
"Come on, Tate. She's sad."
Tate groans. "Esto sucede cada vez." She rambles on in Spanish. "You guys are spoiling her. It's already bad enough either way Christian."
Aria rolls her eyes playfully. "At least it's just ice cream. Christian was going to buy her a private jet for Christmas."
Tate pushes her buggy with Emilio inside as we continue to walk down the sidewalk.
"Well if I threaten to divorce him he'll stop. It works. Or if I threaten to make him sleep on the couch though we have five guest rooms."
I laugh at my best friend. "You're going to give him grey hairs."
Tate grins at me but says nothing else.
We just came back from the museum and I posted a few photos on my Instagram story letting my followers know what I've been doing. I've gotten used to it now.
Aria groans. "Can we get food?"
Tate nods. "We still have to go shopping first. I need to get Emilio some new bottles."
Aria raises a brow. "I thought you were just breastfeeding this time around."
"Yeah no. That will only be sometimes. When you have a baby yanking on your nipple, you wouldn't ask that question. Maya was vicious."
Maya giggles running in front of us and pointing at the story store as we walk by.
Tate sighs. "Baby, you have a toy room full of toys. Next birthday you can get more okay."
Maya nods. "Okay."
"Good girl. We'll be getting food soon okay? Then you can buy ice cream for dessert."
Maya nods happily and grabs Aria's hand.
We finally walk to the mall which is packed full of people who are clearly here for sales. Everyone in there has multiple bags in their hands.
Tate tries to dodge people with her baby buggy and decides we should wait outside of the store for her.
"I might go home soon," I tell Aria.
Aria furrows her brows. "We haven't eaten yet though."
I nod. "I'm not really hungry. And I have some editing to do later so-"
