The gathered crowd can't wrap their heads around the sight of the hero standing with the villain.
"They must be brainwashed" the crowd yells.
"Would you like to tell them darling or should I?" The villain smirks.
The hero nudges him with her shoulder. "Don't tease them" the hero laughs.
They turn and face the uneasy crowd. The hero smiles, bright and true.
"You saw me for what I was and how it could benefit you," the hero smiles and turns to the villain, "he sees me for what I could be".
The villain kisses the herois shoulder "And what I see is breathtaking darling. You could set the world on fire and we would dance together in the flames."
