Mortality to magic (Book One) ✔

Chapter 6

Colette gets up from her bed and looks around like its still all new to her. 

She sighs to herself "I can't believe I'm actually doing this!". 

She continues "Oh well it's too late to back out now".

She gets her jacket on and hunts around the room for her diary frantically.

She finally finds it under her pillow and breathes a sigh of relief and puts it in her bag.   She heads out her bedroom door and heads downstairs in a hurry. 

She stumbles on the final step and drops her bag and all her things fall out of her bag. 

She sighs and picks up her things. 

The girls Piper , Phoebe and Paige emerge from the kitchen. 

Phoebe spots Colette's diary on the floor. "What is that?." Colette notices Phoebe is pointing at her diary.

She goes to pick it up but Phoebe was faster. Phoebe is now holding a blue book. Colette who is annoyed speaks "You really don't want to open that." 

Phoebe raises her eyebrow "Why?" She walks toward Colette "Are you keeping secrets from us?".

Colette shrugs "Nothing you don't already know." She smiles. "Or at least going to know." 

Phoebe raises her eyebrow at her and shrugs. 

After a few moments of staring she eventually gives the diary back to Colette. Piper and Phoebe head into the kitchen with their sister Paige.

Colette heads for the front door and was just about to open it. When she hears a crash from the kitchen. "What the...hell?!"

She hears screaming coming from the kitchen and she thinks carefully. "I could go now because I'm already late or I can go and help them." 

She continues talking to herself "Oh what the heck! Can't make them hate me any more than they already do!".

 She takes a deep breath and dumps her things by the door.

 Running into the Kitchen, Colette spots two strange men in the kitchen. Both wearing white robes, they were only distinguished by their black and blonde hair respectively. 

She looks at girls. "Who the heck are they?". Piper tries to blow them up and Phoebe yells "Piper blowing them up isn't going to kill the Titans because last I checked they aren't demons!".

 Seeing Piper fending of these Titans, Colette's anger starts to boil inside her, causing a sharp pain in her gut. 

She spreads her arms out and the house begins to shake as water starts burst out of the tap in the kitchen and starts to cascade down the stairs as it flowed from the bathroom, Flooding the kitchen with this unexpected wave, the kitchen tables and chairs crash into the worktops. 

One chair flying through the French windows causing Piper to stop her enchantment. 

Piper and Phoebe watch in shock and awe as Colette is able to manipulate the water into a ball of water....The Titans are choking now and unable to breathe. 

Phoebe walks toward Colette and touches Colette's shoulder "it's okay, you can put them down now". Colette looks at Phoebe and sighs.

 Colette pulls both her hands to each side of her and the water separates apart as if she is pulling the water and the water goes back to the kitchen and bathroom where they came from. 

The kitchen's cream walls and high ceiling was completely wet. Colette looks at the girls and notices they are wet too. Even the Titans are soaking wet but otherwise unharmed. The only person in the room that isn't wet is Colette.

The girls look shocked and the Titans disappear.
Colette runs out the room in tears. She silently prays the girls don't ask her about the future or any of her other powers. 

She reaches the door and picks up her stuff. 

She prays to Poseidon thanking him. "Thanks a lot dad, so much for trying to keep my head down!".

The girls run to the door to try and talk to her. But Colette exits out the door.
