Cole was chatting to Inspector Morris trying to get Colette of this Murder Charge. He sighs thinking about Colette. "Look Morris.. You have no evidence.. No fingerprints and no Knife."
Morris nodded "You think I don't know that?! She was found at the scene."
Cole scoffs "She was trying to save his life.".
Morris raised his eyebrow "If you believe that, You'll believe anything."
Cole rolls his eyes at him. "Morris.. She's no Cold blooded killer.."
Morris frowns suspiciously. "How do you know that though?."
Cole sat down for a minute. "Because I know her okay..Just bail her with no charge..She's not involved Trust me on this."
Morris sighs and nodded "Fine but If I find out she's lied to me..I'm hauling her straight back in."
Cole grins "I'd expect nothing but."
They walk out the office together. Morris goes to discharge Colette whilst Cole heads into the interview room to give her the good news.
As he opens the door Colette gets up breathing heavily. "What..What did he say?."
Cole smiles "Your free to go.. " Colette gets up to leave but Cole stops her. "But we still need to talk okay...Meet me at the penthouse straight away..This isnt going to go away Colette, You Can't run from your problems."
Colette smiles falsely "Cole I appreciate your concern but the your the last person I'd go to for advice." She whispers under her breath "You've helped me too much in the future and that's why you managed to brainwash and control me so much."
Cole frowned "What did you just say?..."
Colette grins "Nothing.. Fine, I'll meet you there.. It's not like you'd give me much choice anyway because you'd end up finding me and forcing me to the penthouse with your powers."
Cole steps aside to let her pass. He watches her as she leaves and sighs worriedly. As he watches its almost as he aged a few more years.
Half an hour later Colette arrives at the penthouse and she heads straight for the kitchen and looks inside the fridge. She helps herself to a beer and sits down looking at the view.
10 Mins later Cole flames into the Penthouse. Colette turns around to greet him "So what have I done wrong this time?."
He grins and shakes his head back at her. "This time.. It's not your fault but you really need to stop drinking."
Her mouth dropped towards the floor shocked at what he had just said. "What do you mean it wasn't my fault?.... Wait The Demon who killed him said he was under orders."
Suddenly it dawns on her "That was you wasn't it?"
He nodded sadly "I needed you to come back to me.. I want to marry you Colette..Besides now that you can't go back to the future there's nothing stopping you is there?."
She takes a big swig of her drink "You just don't get it Cole."
He folds his arms "So enlighten me."
She sighs "My family is back there and well..your not the cole I fell in love with."
He frowns "I'm one and the same..aside from that what's the problem?!
She gets up and pours her beer over him. "I love you and at the same time I hate you.. Are you happy now?! Even though all this time I have loved you.. You've ruined everything for me and hurt people I was close to just to get back at me or keep me..I've had enough of your game playing cole and all the Mind games."
She moves to leave but Cole grabs her arm. "When you said you loved me..did you mean it?."
She nodded in slight tears "I did..but the crazy thing is..I still do."
He grins hugging her. "You're not the only one..".
Colette spends the rest of the night crying into his arms until she can't cry anymore whilst Cole takes her over to the sofa to sit down together and eventually she falls asleep in his arms.
Cole lifts her up and puts her on his bed. He smiles at her fondly "This could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship."
