Chapter 18

Colette wakes up feeling weird and starts shivering slightly. She frowns "What the heck is going on?". She shakes that thought off and takes a deep breath. "Everything's fine Colette, nothing's wrong, get a grip".

She sits up and groans sightly. At this noise Cole wakes up and looks at her smiling. "Good, your awake."
She frowns at him. "How long have you been there?".
He smiles and shrugs "All Night."

Colette gets up and starts to get ready for the day ahead. She looks at Cole "Excuse me I do not need a babysitter or a stalker for that matter."
He laughs at her.
She frowns back at him.. "What's so funny?."
He gets up and walks toward her. "You should have come back when the deadline had finished that's all."

She pushes him. "You don't own me.. You have absolutely no right in saying that!".
She sighs "I don't have to be with you...If I don't want to you know?, I do actually have a choice."

Cole crosses his arms and nods "I agree with you."
She frowns in surprise. "Wait What?."

He smiles "If you don't want to be with me then I'd better leave..I don't want to force you."
He turns to leave the cabin.
Colette runs to him and touches his shoulder. "Wait, I didn't say that I didn't want to be with you".
He turns to face her. "You didn't say you did either."
She shrugs at him. "The truth is I don't know what I want anymore.."

He raises his eyebrow. "I'm sensing a but here."
She nods and smiles "But I do want you to stay.. At least until I figure all this out."
He scoffs "You expect me to hang around waiting for you to make up your mind until you change your mind again that is."

Colette sighs "Of course not Cole..I know you better than that."

Cole smiles back at her "I do like you, You know?." Colette smiles sadly "I know You do but I really do not want a repeat performance of last time and its not just that..."

Cole waits for her to finish her sentence patiently. "It's just what?."

Colette turns and walks outside towards the sea where there is a boat bobbing along on the side of the dock and Colette sits on the end of the dock whilst Cole follows her and does the same sitting next to her.

She looks out at the sea longingly. "I just don't want people hurt least of all Phoebe.. It was hard enough the first time never mind trying again a second time."

Cole looks confused and moves her face to look at him. "What do you mean?."

She sighs deeply "You hurt me Cole and when you hurt me I...Lost control I hurt other people..I guess I should've known something like that would happen." She continues "Not only that but Our relationship really hurt Phoebe, it broke her heart and Piper and Paige and Leo hated me so much they refused to talk to me..I..We Became their enemy..I don't want that to happen again Cole.."

Cole kisses her and brushes her hair out of her eyes. "It might not happen that way again...Sometimes we all have to take a chance.. a risk."

She chuckles slightly. "Now you sound like my dad Poseidon..After all he is one of the reason's why I'm back here and I don't just mean Camp I mean back in the past."

Cole Smiles "I see.. Sounds like a smart guy... What was your other reason for coming back?."

Colette gets up and grabs his hand helping him up so that they are level with each other. "Isn't it obvious?".

Cole shakes his head. Colette reaches up to his face and looks into his eyes. "You...I came back for you.."

With the ending of that final sentence She closes her eyes and let's the water Consume her Whilst Cole looks on as she disappears with the water.
