Chapter 5

Cole flames in front of the Halliwell manor and rings the door bell.

The door opens and its Phoebe "Hey stranger". She kisses him. He smiles at her "Can I come in?".

Phoebe smiles back and steps aside to let him in.

She closes the door.
Phoebe walks toward him seductively. I missed you, how was your day?.

Cole looks distracted and looks around the room as if he was looking for somebody.
Phoebe notices he's distracted and moves his face to look at her. "Are you okay honey?."

He forces a smile "Yeah I'm fine, I've just forgot that I've got to do something at work."
Phoebe pouts "But...but you just got here!".
Cole hugs her "I know and I promise we will do something later".

Colette comes downstairs "Morning Phoebe!". She spots Cole. "I'm not interrupting something here am I?".
Phoebe smiles "No not at all, Cole was just going."

Piper screams suddenly from the kitchen and starts yelling at Paige.
Phoebe sighs exasperatedly ".

I'd better see what's going on." She looks at Cole "Can you walk yourself out?."

Colette looks at Phoebe and Cole "I can walk him out of you want". Phoebe smiles "Thanks". And Walks to the kitchen.

Colette and Cole walk toward the front door and just before they get the the door he pulls her to one side. "We need to talk and we need to talk soon."

She pulls her arm away from him "I'm pretty sure I've said everything already. I do not want to repeat myself."

She continues "Besides,I don't want a repeat performance of yesterday thank you.

He looks at her trying to work out what she's thinking. "They won't be any, I promise."
He continues "I won't even use my powers, just meet me at the penthouse."

Cole turns to leave and Colette replies "Your Promises don't count for a lot Cole and in my experience Demons don't keep them."

Cole looks annoyed "Keep your voice down."
She smiles "What? Scared I'm going to tell Phoebe?" She laughs "What's there to tell?.

She smiles cockily "Probably nothing she already knows already".

Cole looks like he's about to get angry and he thinks about changing into his demon form but remembering his conversation with the Seer he decides not to and leaves.

Colette shuts the door and thinks to herself "God that man is the most annoying, irritating man that I've ever met. Why can't this be simple?!."

She walks into the kitchen expecting trouble but Phoebe stops her in the door way "it's alright crisis is over, if Paige wasn't so clumsy we wouldn't be in this mess!"

In the kitchen Paige shouts "Hey! It's not my fault my powers are all wonky today!."
Phoebe shakes her head and rolls her eyes at what Paige said.

Phoebe looks at her expecting her to go but Colette still doesn't move. "Are you okay Colette?."

Colette smiles sadly "Me? Yeah, I'm fine hunky dory in fact!".
Phoebe knows something is wrong "What's wrong?". Colette goes back to sit in the living room and Phoebe follows.
"It's nothing, just ignore me." Phoebe sits opposite her "Doesn't seem like nothing to me."

They sit in silence for a short while and then Colette decides to speak "Phoebe?"
Phoebe replies "hmm?"
Colette sits forward "What did you see in Cole exactly?"

Phoebe shrugs "He's kind , loving and unbelievably hot. She sits forward "Why do you ask?".
Colette bites her lip "Did you see that even when he was a demon?.

Phoebe gets up annoyed "I don't know how you know that but all you need to know is that he's good now."
Colette gets up "How can he be good when he's using his demonic powers?! He will always be a demon Phoebe!".

Phoebe steps closer to Colette "He's using his powers for good not evil".
"Phoebe you don't know that not really, Do you really think after a quarter of a century of being a demon, he can be good just like that?" Colette flicks her fingers.

Phoebe starts to walk away and Colette shouts "You know as well as I do that if he does return to his demonic ways, your relationship will not survive".

Phoebe turns around "We will see about that." Phoebe heads back into the kitchen.
Colette replies under her breath "Game on sister!" And heads to her room.
