Chapter 12

Colette arrives at Cole's and sighs "Here goes nothing." 

She enters the lobby and the lobby man smiles at her. She smiles back and enters the lift. She turns around to face the door. 

She fiddles with her clothes nervously. Finally the lift doors open and she sees Cole staring out the window. 

He hears the lift doors open and turns around. He smiles at Colette "You made it then." Colette dumps her stuff on the floor. "You didn't exactly give me a choice Cole." 

He nods and gestures to her to take a seat." I know I'm sorry about that but I had to get you here to talk without Phoebe getting suspicious."

Colette sits down "Why? It's not like there's anything going on.". 

He smirks at her "Are you saying our kisses the last few nights meant nothing?". 

Colette nods "I don't want anything to do with you... You've caused me nothing but stress and trouble since I got here." 

Cole laughs at her "You think your stressed?! How the heck do you think I feel?!" Colette shrugs. "Sorry my empath powers aren't working today so you'll have to do all the work yourself with your mouth." 

She smirks sarcastically. Cole picks her up by the collar and pins her up against the wall. Colette starts choking and Cole smiles "I haven't got time for games..."

 He continues "So your gonna sit down and listen but must importantly you tell the truth." Colette shakes her head. "Because I know exactly when people lie to me." 

He puts a bit of pressure on her throat as she gasps for breath. She nods to him. He lets her go and she splutters "What the heck are you playing at Cole, are you trying to kill me or something?." 

He laughs "If I was trying to kill you, wouldn't I have done that already?. Colette shrugs "Probably.. I'm just wondering how you'd kill me so I can be prepared." 

He smirks "Believe me i'd plan to kill you when you least expect it." Colette rubs her neck and checks it in the mirror and sees it's slightly red. "But I'm not gonna kill you not now." She turns around " Why what's changed?".

 He shrugs "You're diary perhaps?" Colette gasps in shock. 

"Don't tell me you haven't worked it out?...

"Colette breathes in anger. "YOU READ MY DIARY DIDN'T YOU?!." 

Colette moves forward to attack him "COME ON WHERE IS IT?!" 

He grabs her arms in between blows and he pushes her against the wall. Holding her arms in restraint. "There's no need to shout is there?."

 He smirks. Colette squirms desperately trying to break free. She gives up "What do you want Cole?." He smiles "You to be my queen." He lets her go.

"No way, absolutely not.." 

She grabs her stuff and heads for the lift. 

Cole waves his hand and flames stop her from entering the lift. 

He grabs her and forced her to turn around. "I'm afraid you don't have a choice." He flames out with her and they arrive in the underworld. 

She squirms against his grip "Get off me or I'll tell Phoebe everything!".

He ignores her and summons the seer. "You rang?"

 She bows her head. "There's been a change of plan, Phoebe is no longer an option anymore." 

The seer frowns "I don't understand I thought the plan was working perfectly?". He pushes Colette into a large magical cage nearby. "It was until she decided to get involved." 

He chuckles "It turns out me and Phoebe were never gonna work out and in the future me and her are king and queen of the underworld." 

He smiles at Colette. The seer steps forward "You mean Phoebe stops you from being the source.?"

 He shakes his head." No me and Phoebe do get married but she couldn't choose between me and her sisters." 

He adds "Colette saves me from Phoebe's vanquishing attempts and of course between all of this happening me and her have an affair." 

The seer appears to be taking all of this in. "And how did you come by this information?" 

He waves his hand and Colette's diary appears. "With this, her diary." 

Colette rattles the cage "I knew it!". She screams in anger, "WHEN I GET OUT THIS CAGE,YOU WON'T BE WORRYING ABOUT BEING VANQUISHED BECAUSE BY THE TIME I'M FINISHED WITH YOU, YOU'RE GONNA REGRET READING THAT."

 He waves his hands and some sticky tape appears on her mouth silencing her. "Oh yeah? Doesn't seem like you can do much now." 

Colette thinks to herself "How am I gonna get out of here?" She breathes in a panic "There's no point using my powers when the cage is pretty much magical proofed and it's too dangerous to cast a spell to bring the girls here."

 She decided to wait and bide her time. Cole turns to the seer "Prepare everything including the ritual. She bows her head "As you wish". He turns to see Colette's horrified expression and smiles at her as he flames out.
