Chapter 16

Leo and Colette land on a long road and trees opposite them. Leo smiles at Colette "Are you sure you want to be dropped off here?". She nods at him "Yeah I'm sure." Leo looks around "I don't see anything around here, it looks pretty much abandoned." Colette laughs "Follow me." She pulls her suitcase along with her across the road and heads further down the road and into a clearing in the woods.

Inside the clearing there are bushes on either side and a large ruin with with Greek columns on either side and surrounded by torch lights. Colette looks up to the top of the Columns and she see's Greek writing that reads:

"Κατασκήνωση ημίαιμων".

Suddenly the letters and words changed around in the blink of an eye translating to "Camp Half Blood". Leo looks at Colette and grins. "You sure your gonna be okay?." Colette nodded "Come in if you like?."

Leo frowns "Are you sure?". she nods "Just let me go first okay?." He smiles and nods back to her. She steps in front of him and takes a few steps forward to the archway and takes a deep breath.

She takes another deep breath and steps through the archway. Leo frowns and tries to enter behind her but the barrier refuses to let him through and he falls over . He gets up and brushes himself off.

She turns to face Leo through the Veil. " I Colette Katie give you permission to enter camp!" Leo smiles and hesitates. "I can go through the barrier now?" Colette nodded "Its okay, give it a try." He takes a deep breath and steps forward.

He looks around in awe. Colette grins "Come on follow me." He follows her and he looks to the left of him and see's archer's training and then looks to his right and see's other demigods sword fighting each other.

They reach a large space with buildings around them in a U bend shape. Colette looks at Leo and grins "These are all the cabins for each gods children. Zeus and Hermes and Athena... I could go on.."

leo frowns "Why are some of the cabins empty?" Colette smiles "Its mostly for respect, some of the minor gods don't have children." Leo looks shocked "Seriously? and what about any of the other gods?."

Colette shrugs "Do you seriously see Hades with children?!".. she continues "Even if he did..that would be bad very bad."
He looks at Colette "You mean bad, if he had children?".
Colette laughs "No I mean bad if he even had a cabin here, nobody likes Hades right?...although it depends what kind of people the kids are."

Leo frowns "How do you mean?".

Colette sighs "Take a look at the Ares kids for example..He's the God of war and all the kids are always pretty angry especially Clarisse. She continued "Then again children of Hades would be rather similar I guess."

He nodded understanding. Colette grins "Come on let's go and find Chiron."

Leo grins "Okay who's Chiron?".
Colette winks at Leo "You'll see."

Leo follows her down past the the mess hall which is on Leo's left and on his right is a climbing wall.

Colette points at the climbing wall "That may look easy but Chiron likes putting extra challenges like lava running down it."
"Leo grinned at her. "Yikes! Sounds scary."

Colette nodded "You have no idea!".

They reach a cliff and on the side of the cliff a hill runs down to the beach. Colette stops a moment hearing a noise. She turns to Leo "You hear that?".
Leo nods "Yeah sounds like hooves.. Do you have horses or something?".

Colette laughs "I'd stick with the or something part."

Suddenly a group of Centaurs come into view. Colette grins at Leo "Come on".
Colette breaks into a run excited. Perhaps she was excited at the idea of being back on her home turf where she felt like she actually belonged. She skids to a halt and Leo bumps into her. He frowns "What's wrong?".
