Chapter 31 Sending her back

Colette arrives at the club in a beautiful black dress. The first thing she does as she walks down the stairs was to look for Cole.

She see's him talking to the band. She walks closer to him and overhears part of their conversation.
"Listen mate.. It's my girlfriends last night here so can we sing that song?."

He points to the song sheet placed in front of the piano and the guitarist. "Sorry mate no can do.. This isn't a karaoke night."

Leo witnesses all this and grabs Piper. Pipers face goes all red thinking he's about to kiss her.
"Piper talk to the band please.. It's Colette's last night here."

Piper frowns "What do you mean?."

Leo rolls his eyes at her "I mean Cole has found a way to send her back.. She confided in me earlier.. I don't think she wants to go."

Leo pleads with his eyes "Please do it for me?."
Piper sighs "Okay!.."

Piper walks toward Cole and the band. "Let them sing."
The band member nodded "You got it."

Cole looks up and sees a beautiful Colette at the bar. He runs to her and lifts her up in the air. "You look beautiful."

She grins "Thanks.. You don't look so bad yourself.."

He pulls her toward the stage. "This is the song we are singing." He points to the song sheet."

Colette grins "Since it's my last night and all.. I have a better idea." She whispers a different song into the band members ear and he nodded.

Colette pulls Cole on stage and they both begin to sing:
