Cole sits down in his penthouse looking out the bifold doors staring at the view with Colette's blue diary in his hand. He strokes the cover wondering what lies inside and whether he should open it.
He thinks about what he and Colette has been through already and everything he has found out up to now.
He is curious and desperate to find out about the future but something tells him he shouldn't.He sighs "Maybe I've been a demon for far too long."
He closes his eyes for a moment to prepare himself for any consequences that may occur. He smiles with his eyes shut like its some sort of ritual to prepare him for battle.
He finally opens his eyes and opens the book and the future begins to unfold before his very eyes.
Dear Diary,
My day has actually sucked.. I wish I could write down happy memories and stuff but to be honest with you.. I came here for solace.
People go to church and pray to God and I write in my diary?! How stupid is that?.Anyway I guess I should start from the beginning. I kind of hoped that me and Cole would be a normal couple well as normal as we could be anyway..
I know he's a demon and all but I kind of hoped he'd be nice..I didn't mind if he was nice to me and evil to everyone else which is another stupid thing right? I accepted who he was I mean.. I knew exactly what I was getting into.. but now looking back I'm not so sure.A question that I often ask myself..If I saw into my own future would I have gone through with it? Would have I have changed anything about it? Okay I'm well aware that's two questions but bare with me here okay?
Anyway I guess my problem's started when I was pregnant For the first time with Lucas. After I found out I was pregnant, I was approached by the seer.
She told me that Cole would need an heir in order for him to survive in the underworld otherwise they might kill him.
I actually joked at the time that there was fat chance of that because frankly everyone was scared of him at the time.. In fact looking back the other demons are always scared of him.
Anyway I told the seer that I wasn't stupid I knew at some point he would need an heir except I didn't envision having kids so early in the relationship.
I wanted to enjoy being married first.
After I gave birth the Seer turned up again and Cole actually asked if his son was powerful enough to be an heir to the throne.
Apparently you need the right kind of heir. The seer must've looked into the future or something because she said No this child will not be the heir to the throne.
I was confused and I asked her does that mean I have more kids in the future?
She nodded and said Yes and no.. Your child isn't powerful enough to be the heir to the throne which means you need to try again until you get the heir we so desperately need.I was frustrated at this. I asked her what happens to my son in the meantime and I kinda yelled at her that she isn't a part of this and she's employed purely to make sure me and Cole succeed into the underworld.
Thankfully she said my son can still be alive during all of this as I expected them to vanquish him. It's kinda quizzical that they never asked me to have an abortion and had this conversation earlier. In fact they did the next few times I was pregnant.
Pretty soon though it started to take its toll. I eventually refused to have sex with him because I couldn't stand getting pregnant anymore and having to kill my own baby.
Cole eventually turned into a more desperate and drastic person basically he became the person he was when he was with Phoebe.
He raped me repeatedly and the pregnancies started once again. When he asked me to have an abortion I of course refused to comply with that preposterous suggestion. I had enough with it all. He threatened my mortal family and hidden them in a tiny pocket of time.
