THE ATTACKS CONTINUED TO HAPPEN, and it began to become a rather serious issue. The aggression were directed towards the younger students of muggleborn and rarely half-blood status, almost every single night. It was as if that attack on Quirinus was the beginning.
The attacks had started to happen in the middle of the night, without any reason. And, of course, none of them had ever ended, in any of them being seriously hurt, and needing to be sent to the hospital wing.
The reports of the attacks were continuously occurring, but the staff, were not doing anything, to stop them, or rather, the attackers were smart about where they attacked their victims, which made everyone rather frustrated. Therefore, a group of students had decided to do something about it, themselves. This was seen as a bold move, however they felt the situation, demanded such.
At first, they did not want to risk getting directly involved, because of worrying, that may make things worse. However, with the increasing severity, of the attacks, they decided enough was enough.
Elliot was attacked in a rather unexpected way, as he was protecting a few other younger students, that were being attacked as well. It turned out in an unfortunate manner, as he ended up taking the brunt of everything. No one had thought to check the dungeons for possible assaults, due to their usually, being swarmed with Slytherins.
