Y/n's Pov

It's Monday again.

I sigh, how could the weekend go by so fast?

I was walking to school, it was a little colder today, I was lucky enough to remember my jacket.

I take it out of my bag, and then I hear someone call my name, I look up to meet the brown eyes.

"Hello Oikawa." I said to him as he smiled at me.

"I didn't know we lived in the same neighborhood!" He said, I couldn't help but think about how someone could have that much energy at this time in the morning.

"Me neither." I said while yawning a little bit.

"You owe me some Milk Bread, by the way." He said to me, which caused me to laugh.

"Alright." I said to which he smiled at me.

We made it to the gym on time.

I decided to sit down for a minute to just rest my legs before getting back up again.

"Y/n, can I ask you a favor, I know you've been doing a lot for me, and I'm sorry about that." Coach said as I looked up at him, "Yea, and don't worry about it, it's my job after all." I said as he smiled at me.

"I knew you were a good pick, even if you were the only one who wanted the job." He said to me which caused me to smile at him.

"Anyways, do you mind ordering the boys jerseys as well. They have the measurements on this clipboard." He said, handing me the clipboard, I did a once over and looked up at him and nodded.

I walked over to the bench and put the clipboard on top of my duffle bag.

Just then Oikawa came up to me.

"Y/n-chan, smile!" He said and with that a flash came and blinded my eyes.

Did he just take a picture?

I looked at him and he smiled at me and shows me the picture.

"Dude, I wasn't even looking?" I said as he just laughed, "I'm sorry, I didn't realize. I promise I won't post it anywhere." He said and I just shrugged and laughed a little.

After morning practice I got changed into my uniform after showering.

Today seemed like it was going to be a good day.

I was about to walk out when a familiar voice called my name.

I turn around and see Oikawa again.

"Hey Y/n-chan, would you maybe want to come to my nephews, 'practice', tonight. It's just at the park near our neighborhood." He said as I blushed a little and smiled at him, nodding.

He smiled back, "I'll see you there." He said as I smiled back at him.

We didn't have volleyball practice tonight, due to coach having a doctors appointment and coach Sadayuki also wasn't able to go because he has been feeling sick lately so he hasn't been here since last Thursday.

And of course I couldn't do practice with them because I really had no idea what to do, since I haven't played volleyball in a long time.

So we all just ruled out that practice would be cancelled, but for anybody who wanted to practice extra, the gym was open.

I guess Oikawa wanted to help his Nephew today, which it seemed like a good idea for me and my brother as well.

He has been complaining that there is nothing to do around here, and he has been wanting to go to the park.

Once school was over, I went outside and started walking towards our neighborhood when Oikawa caught up with me.

"Hey Y/n-chan!" He said as he finally made it next to me, I smiled at him and waved.

"How was your day?" He asked me as I shrugged, "It was pretty good, classes were decent." I said to him as he smiled at me.

"That's awesome! My classes were good as well, as you know I am in advanced classes." He said confidently as I just laughed at him and he smiled back at me, laughing a little as well.

"Well that's good." I said to him as he smiled back at me, nodding.

"Also, I was wondering if I could get your number, so that I could text you when we were going out for 'practice'?" He said as I looked at him and thought for a moment.

I blushed a little at the thought of having his number, some girls would be jealous if they found out.

But why did I care? It was only for him to text me when their practice was.

Why did I care?

"Sure, it's xxx-xxx-xxxx." I said to him as he jotted them down quickly in his phone.

"Alright, I sent you a text!" He said as I smiled at him.

We finally made it to my house and we hid each other goodbye.

I then open the door to see my brother.

"Hey, who was that?" He asked me as I rolled my eyes at him, "Just a friend." I said to him as he made googly eyes at me, "Yea right, he's your boyfriend isn't he?" My eyes widened at the words.

Boyfriend?

"No, he's just a dude on the volleyball team I manage, also you should be careful what you say cause I'm taking you out later." I said to my brother which caused him to look at me and smile excitedly.

"Okay! But you like him, I can totally tell." He said to me and ran away, the words caused me to go into shock for a moment.

I liked him?

Was that true?

Was that the answer to my questions.

I finally came to the realization.

I liked Tooru Oikawa, the captain and setter, of the Aoba Johnsai Volleyball team.
