Y/n's pov

To say today was frustrating, was an understatement.

First, a couple of girls ganged up on me saying that I 'wasn't good enough for Oikawa' and that 'I probably only became manager just to get with him'.

Second, a girl came up to me and asked me if it was true and I said 'yea' and she said 'I hope Oikawa just dumps you and tells you that he was just playing around with you.'

And there really is no third except for people whispering random gossips in the hallway about me and him, knowing well that I could hear them.

But what made it better is that some girls did come up to me and congratulate me, and even the volleyball boys texted on the volleyball groupchat 'congratulations' and in Iwaizumi's words 'I'm happy for you guys, but Y/n, if he gets to annoying, text me and I'll handle it.' To which I laughed at.

I had lunch with Oikawa and it was peaceful, we decided to eat outside in the shade and we just talked.

Right now I am heading towards the gym, I'm holding my gym bag as well as my school bag.

Tonight's practice was most likely going to be a little bit more challenging than the rest since we are getting ready for the game.

I got inside the gym and noticed nobody was there, so I went to the bathrooms to get changed.

Once I got out of the bathrooms I noticed coach sitting down at his usual spot.

I decided to take a seat next to him as I grabbed a clipboard.

Coach wanted me to start taking notes on what it seems like the boys are struggling with or what they are excelling in.

I saw Iwaizumi enter the gym and he waved towards me.

"Hey Y/n, coach." He said while nodding towards coach.

"Congratulations by the way Y/n, and if he breaks your heart, just know I'll be packing." He said to me as it took me a minute to understand what he meant.
(Guys it means he's getting his gun ready😭)

I laughed at his statement as he went over towards the bathrooms to get changed.

"What happened?" Coach Nebutaru asked.

Man was he nosey.

I just smiled warmly at him, "Nothing, it's alright." I said to him as he looked at me unamused but soon just smiled softly and went on with his day.

Thank God.

Speak of the devil, Oikawa walked in, surprisingly early.

"Hey Y/n-chan!" He said as he came up to me and placed a kiss on my forehead.

I blushed at the action and I looked up at him and smiled.

It seemed like whenever I was with him, all of my problems and worries just went away.

That's why I love Oikawa, cause he was like a safe place for me.

He then left to go get changed.

I sat back down and I felt someone staring at me, I looked over at coach Nebutaru who was smiling giddily at me.

"What?" I asked him as I realized that he saw Oikawa and me.

"You and Oikawa are dating aren't you?" He asked me as I felt my cheeks flush from embarrassment.

I nodded hesitantly as he started chuckling, I smiled a little.

Thank God that he didn't make a big deal out of it.

I thought as he finished chuckling and started to speak again, "I agree with Iwaizumi, you're a good kid, if he hurts you then I won't hesitate to punch him." He said as I laughed at his statement.

Soon, everybody walked into the gym and they started their practice.

I started to take notes of their moves and what they could most likely do better.

I started to discuss some of them with coach as he nodded, agreeing with me.

"Good observations, Y/n!" He exclaimed as I smiled softly at him.

Soon practice ended and I decided to stay in my clothes and not change since I wasn't really sweating bad or doing any physical activity.

I waited at the entrance for Oikawa.

Once he came into View, he reached his hand out to me as I took it.

We walked out of the gym and started our walk to the neighborhood.

"How was your day?" He asked me as I hesitated to tell him.

"Well, there was some complications, but you made it better." I said to him as he smiled at me at first but then frowned.

"What do you mean complications?" He asked me as I shrugged.

"Just some rude fangirls, but most people were supportive, which I appreciated." I said to him as he nodded and then turned toward me.

"Y/n, if anybody is giving you any trouble, please tell me!" He said as I looked over and made eye contact with him.

I nodded as he smiled at me.

"What about your day?" I asked him as he stayed in thought for a moment.

"It was pretty good, but you made it better." He said as we both looked at each other and he winked at me.

I giggled at him as he just smiled brightly at me.

We both continued to walk before we ended up at my house.

He turned over and looked at me.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow, Girlfriend." He said to me as I giggled a little.

"See you tomorrow, Boyfriend." I said to him as he leaned in and kissed me, I kissed him back and we stayed there for about five seconds before pulling away.

I start blushing again, the feeling never gets old.

I waved to him and start walked towards my house.

I look behind me and see he's still there so I decided to blow him a kiss like I did on Saturday and he did the same thing, he pretended to grab it but this time he put his hand on his lips.

I blushed at the action and waved towards him and went inside my house.

Once I got inside I sighed.

I already miss My Boyfriend.
