Frank says to Archie "Hey, Archie. You okay?"
Archie says to Frank "Yeah."
Archie walks in
Archie says to Frank "Yeah, I'm great, Uncle Frank."
Frank says to Archie "Not me.First day as foreman.Man, I'm more nervous than when I started basic training."
Archie says to Frank "Nah,you're gonna do awesome.In fact, I got something for you."
Archie grabs Fred's tool belt
Frank says to Archie "It's Fred's tool belt.Hey,I can't take another man's gear,especially not my brother's."
Archie says to Frank "Well, you're not talking it,
you're borrowing it.He'd want you to. So do I."
Frank takes it
Frank says to Archie "Thanks, Archie.For everything."

Jughead says to Betty "Thank God for Bret's morning workouts."
Betty says to Jughead "Jug, do not mention him
right now, okay?And ruin this moment."
Jughead says to Betty "I just love getting you
all wound up."
Betty sighs
Betty says to Jughead "Why are you smiling?"
Jughead says to Betty "Just everything.You're here,I've turned in my draft for the Baxter Brothers book.And Yale said..."
Betty says to Jughead "Yale said what?"
Jughead sighs
Betty sits up
Betty says to Jughead "Did you get accepted into Yale and not tell me?"
Jughead says to Betty "Yeah, I think I did."
Betty says to Jughead "Wow."
Jughead sits up
Jughead says to Betty "Are you okay?"
Betty says to Jughead "Yeah, no,I'm just... I'm just processing.But I'm happy for you, Jug.I'm happy for you. I'm proud of you."
Jughead says to Betty "Really?"
Betty says to Jughead "Yes.Yes.Let me show you
how much."

Bret scoffs
Bret says to Betty "You two are finally done.
I thought I'd be late for class.Oh, I guess I'll see you in New Haven next year.Of course, you'll just
be a visitor."
Betty says to Bret "You got into Yale?"
Bret says to Betty "Yeah. Don't look so surprised.
And don't worry, Betty,I will try to keep the coeds away from Forsythe.No promises.But I do promise to crush you in the Quiz Show finals.If Riverdale makes it that far."

Cheryl says to Dr.Beaker "Dr. Beaker,as our chemistry teacher,we are hoping you have the skill set to help us with something of a personal nature."
Veronica says to Dr.Beaker "Are you a rum drinker,Dr. Beaker?"
Dr.Beaker chuckles
Dr.Beaker says to Veronica "Uh,not during school hours...and never with students."
Cheryl says to Dr.Beaker "Ugh. Calm down, Dr. Egghead."
Cheryl exhales
Cheryl says to Dr.Beaker "We're simply asking you to analyze our maple-based concoction
to ensure that our recipe is different enough
from Lodge Rum."
Veronica says to Dr.Beaker "That way, we can't be sued or ceased-and-desisted by my father.
So I ask you again, Dr. Beaker...are you a rum drinker?"
In Stonewall Prep,classroom
Francis says to Jughead "The board that the runs
the Baxter Brothers has taken a look at the first draft of your book, and they have a few thoughts.
Well, one more global thought.They would like a new mystery."
Jughead says to Francis "New mystery? Like,the whole book?"
Francis says to Jughead "They think the boy-in-the-river storyline is a bit soft.They're looking
for something darker.They mentioned something
about say, um,serial killers being a potential
fertile ground to explore."
Jughead says to Francis "Okay, um...I'll just
have to think about it."
Francis says to Jughead "Well, think fast and have some pitches prepared.The Brotherhood is coming here to meet with you."
Jughead is shocked
In Charles's office
Jughead says to Charles "So, I need some serial-killer advice.My publishers want a dark and edgy villain for the book, Charles.So now I have to come up with pitches in the vein of Zodiac or Hannibal Lecter.I figured you would have some ideas."
Charles says to Jughead "Yeah, sure. No problem.
But don't you have firsthand experience with an infamous local serial killer?"
Jughead says to Charles "You mean the Black Hood? No, I couldn't do that to Betty."
Charles says to Jughead "Hmm, fair enough. Well, I've got boxes full of killers,so I'll pick out my ten most gruesome ones for you."
Jughead says to Charles "Thank you, Chuck. I owe you."
At Andrews Construction
Frank says to the workers "I know you all worked hard for my brother.Rest assured,as the new foreman,I plan on busting my ass,the same as you do.And I specifically want to thank Tom Keller for filling in during these difficult times."
Archie says to the workers "Cool, guys, let's get to work."
Worker says to the rest of the workers

Tom says to Archie "You know, Archie,I would've appreciated a heads-up that I was being replaced."
Archie says to Tom "I know, Mr. Keller, I'm sorry.It happened fast. But Frank has a ton of experience and I think the crew's gonna love him."
Tom says to Archie "I gotta be honest with you, Arch.I know about your uncle.He's been trouble
since the day he was born.I must've arrested him a half dozen times when I was sheriff."
Archie says to Tom "Oh, that was then.My dad believed in second chances, Mr. Keller. So do I."
Tom walks off
