Tom pov:

It didn't take long after Bill fell asleep for Scarlett to seem completely empty. It's been a while since I've seen her look so empty, and I don't know what to do.

"Come on..." I say and grab her hand. We walked for almost two minutes before she asked where I was taking her, which isn't usually like her.

"Where are we going?" Scarlett asks, her voice quiet like she didn't actually wanna say anything.

"To get something to drink. Get in." I say when we've reached the car and I open the passenger door for her. She gets inside with no resistance at all. Something feels weird about her. More weird than I'd thought at first.
Maybe once I get some alcohol in her she'll momentarily forget about Bill in the hospital.

"Why? Can't we just go back to the hospital? I wanna sleep." Scarlett says. Now that she said it, she actually does look tired. I can understand that, but after what I did for her, she's gonna give me something too. I'm not gonna just let her fall asleep crying when she could have so much more fun drunk with me than with Bill sleeping in the hospital.

"Because... I wanna have fun. I'll call Gustav and Georg so we can all meet at a bar somewhere. I'll make them bring the girls. It's gonna be fun. Trust me." I say with an uncertian smile. I put my hand on her thigh, grabbing it slightly trying to make her feel safe with me.
She barely even seems to notice the touch, she's just staring out the window, her face getting lit up by passing street lamps.

I know I should be focussing on driving, but her blue eyes seem so vibrant when the street lamps shines on her once in a while. The only thing bothering me is how empty her gaze is. Her face is so pale and completely clear and I know from experience that she's soft. Everything about her face and body is beautiful, but she just seems... dead inside. Like a shell with no soul.

I pull out my phone from my pocket, not slowing down the car. I call Georg and he answers after the first ring.

"Scarlett and I are going to a bar, I'll send you the location. Tell Gustav too and bring the girls." I tell Georg on the phone. He agrees immediately and I can almost hear him nodding sternly.

This bar looks good. I've never been here before, I always thought this area was too crowded. For all the time I've lived here, people have treated Bill, Georg, Gustav and I like royalty. Like celebtrities. And there were too many people here for my liking. Still to this day there are people starring after my car and shouting and waving at us. But today, something feels different. I almost want them to notice me. Not just me. I want them to see Scarlett having fun with me. Everybody knows that both Bill and Scarlett have been gone a long time, and I want them to see that I'm back in control again.

The bar looks big and the door is open. Strobe lights are shining out the door. It's a different kind of bar than we usually go to. Almost more of a club. But maybe the noise and people and crazy lights will distract Scarlett.

"Are we going in there?" Scarlett asks, looking out of my window at the club. People around us are getting closer. Lots of girls are gathering in small groups giggling and whispering to each other, pointing at us.

"Yes... let's get out of the car before all those people get too close." I say, quickly getting out of the car and running to the other side, keeping an eye of the people who are now walking faster. Almost running towards us. Some of them have their phones out and probably filming us.
I open Scarlett's door and take her hand. It feels weirdly gentle to help her out, like nothing I've ever done before. I'm not sure if I like it or hate it.

"omg it's Tom Kaulitz and Scarlett!" Some girl shouts and I turn around. The girl is filming us with her phone covering half her face. Scarlett looks worried. I can understand if she doesn't want to be filmed right now.
I grab her arm hard and drag her with me towards the club. Something pulls her back though. Not her own free will, but someone pulling on her other arm.

"Don't touch her!" I shout at the boy holding her arm. He doesn't look scared. He can't be older than 18, so how does he look so mature. It's like he's seen the worst of humanity or as if he is the worst of humanity.

"Ow!" Scarlett excalims and ripps herself out of my grip to hold onto her other arm. I can see how tightly his fingers are wound around her arm, and I notice her scars. I had forgotten about those scars. The long line on her arm after Georg went berserk trying to kill Laura. The scar in her palm that was once a deep hole after Bill raped her the first time and nearly killed her.

I take two angry steps towards thr boy and stare him right in the face.

"Run away before I gouge your eyes out with a spoon." I hiss at him, but he doesn't move an inch.

"The little girl is here. In Tokyo. Your search in Germany won't do any good." The boy says still with a straight face and lets go of Scarlett. She gasps and holds her arm close to her chest, rubbing the prints of his fingers.

"What the fuck do you mean? Cat's alive? Here?" I ask the boy, but he doesn't answer. He turns around and starts walking away.

"Hey! Don't walk away from me! Tell me where my daughter is!!!" I shout and grab his shoulder, but before I know it, he's dissapeared in a void of people. Everybody's grabbing my body and face ripping at my clothes. I'm sorrounded by screaming girls and I can't see Scarlett anywhere.

A girl gets a hold of about half of my braids and I can't move if she doesn't let go. I try to tell her to let go, but the people screaming is too loud for me to even hear my own voice. So I quickly turn and slap her. Not too hard but hard enough for her to let go. And it works.

I start pushing my way towards the club where Scarlett must have been heading. The door is closed now, probably because someone saw all of the people swarming Scarlett and I.
Once I reach the door, I get an idea. We can't have all these people following me inside the club, right?

I pull out my gun and shoot three times into the air. The screams get quiet in the matter of seconds. All of them are looking at me.

"If any of you follow me inside... I'll be shooting something else! Understood!?" I shout. The people are already starting to go the opposite way. I put the gun back and turn around. I grab the handle and open the door. It's a lot heavier than I thought it would be. But once I've closed it behind me, I hear Scarlett giggling behind me. I turn around and see her sitting on a bar stool with some random boy. She has a drink in her hand and so does the boy. What is it with these young men today?

He must have said something hilarious because Scarlety is laughing uncontrollably. I can't accept this. I was supposed to make her laugh tonight. Make her feel good and safe. Not some random boy in a random shitty club. I have to shut him up.
