"Ah... Thank you so much," said Sanghyun, bowing to the audience. "I'm Sanghyun from the 888 Crew. And this friend here is our crew's leader, Junhyung Shin."
"Hello. I'm Junhyung Shin, the leader of the 888 Crew."
The audience, who had been loud during the performance, quieted down as the conversation began. They were curious about these young boys in blue.
"At first, when L&S Band asked us to perform together, I was worried because of my lack of experience, but it turns out there was no need to worry. You guys are doing great," Sanghyun joked, earning a chuckle from the audience.
"Some of you may have noticed, but we had some trouble with the bass, so the cue sheet got messed up. We were debating which song to do next, but I just thought of one. Hyung, can we add one more song?"
At Sanghyun's question, Minsik smiled and took the microphone.
"We just got a text saying our bassist went to a nearby music store to buy a cable, and he confirmed that the bass is working now. It seems like the problem was with the cable connecting the bass to the speaker. We're really sorry about that."
"It's okay!" echoed from various parts of the audience.
Minsik asked Sanghyun, "So, what song are we going to do now?"
"Oh, are you crazy, Sanghyun? Sanghyun, what are you doing?"
"What? It's the stage..."
"That's just how he is. That's probably why he doesn't have a girlfriend. I mean, not that he would, but just look at him playing the guitar. Doesn't it make your heart flutter, or make you want to know who he is, or maybe even go on a date with him?"
Sanghyun took out his phone from his pocket and searched for something. Minsik, flustered, waved his hands.
"No, not personal information like phone numbers..."
"Call 600678 and then 7038."
"Huh?"
"062, isn't that the area code for Gwangju?"
"That's the number for Ilgok Hospital."
"Ah..."
"It's probably best to see a specialist, right?"
Bong Min-sik, who had been lost in thought for a moment, belatedly realized that he had provided fodder for teasing himself all his life.
Members of L&S were laughing. Mi-ju was laughing, Junhyung was laughing, and even the members of the 888 Crew were laughing. Needless to say, so were the audience.
Ah, it sounded like he was hearing voices.
"You have been designated as an X-Man. Of course, X stands for fool, idiot, blockhead, synonymous with kimchi stew. Kimchi Stew Man."
Ah...
Music should be done in Hongdae, right? When should he go up to Seoul? Haha. As expected, when you're born, you should go to Jeju Island with your words, and when you're born, you should go to Seoul with people.
Even as Minsik was firmly denying reality, Sanghyun's banter didn't stop.
"Wow, this hyung. Did you see how he acted like he was trying to stop me, but actually didn't stop me properly and just expected it? That's just how this hyung is."
Laughter erupted.
"Please give a round of applause to this poor soul."
Laughter and applause filled the air.
