Chapter 118 [verse 18. Hip-hop the Vibe]

The morning of November 17th dawned, the day of the national college entrance exam in South Korea.

Sanghyun and the other members of the 888 Crew gathered early in the morning at their studio to check the competition song for Hip Hop The Vibe. Before they knew it, it was already 4 o'clock, and the members headed to Haeyeon's exam center, timed to coincide with the end of the college entrance exam.

"Wow, it's so cold."

"Yeah, tell me about it."

"It's always fascinating how it gets so cold every year during the college entrance exam."

Today's weather perfectly matched the term "college entrance exam cold," as it was bitterly cold outside.

Wearing thick parkas for the first time this year, the crew members laughed, chatted, and joked around at the entrance of the exam center. It was their usual cheerful routine whenever the 888 Crew gathered, but there was a slight difference today.

That difference was the group of female students who seemed glued to them.

"Are you Sanghyun-nim?"

"Ni, nim?"

Sangmi made a disgusted expression.

For some reason, a group of female fans appeared at the exam center, eager to give Sanghyun presents. They couldn't contain their excitement, taking photos, getting autographs, and touching Sanghyun as if he were a sacred object.

Sanghyun didn't know how to handle the enthusiastic fans who were bombarding him for the first time.

"This is unbelievable... that our brother is a celebrity!"

Sangmi covered her eyes as if she couldn't bear to see it.

After the storm passed, Kim Haeyoung said in amazement, "Is it really strange that the power of one terrestrial broadcast is so incredible? We had a broadcast yesterday, and already there's a gift attack?"

"Yeah, yesterday's broadcast was at 7 p.m., so technically it's not even been 24 hours," Minji replied, shaking her index finger.

"Well, that's because he did so well. Sanghyun, you were totally awesome yesterday. Some of my friends even asked about you."

"But it's happening too fast. Gee, if we go on Hip Hop The Vibe tomorrow, we'll become celebrities, won't we?"

Seeing Minji hesitate, Inhyuk started questioning what was going on with her hesitation.

Sanghyun felt a mixture of surprise and gratitude at the unexpected shower of gifts. Fortunately, there were no burdensome or expensive gifts.

At that moment, the bell signaling the end of the college entrance exam rang.

Shortly afterward, students with various expressions began to emerge from the exam center. Of course, Haeyeon was among them.

Sangmi, who especially liked Haeyeon, ran up to her and grabbed her hand first.

"Unnie! You did so well!"

"You've worked hard. Are you tired?"

"Haeyeon, great job."

Each member offered a word of praise.

"Did you do well? Do you think you'll get a good score?"

When Inhyuk cluelessly asked that question, Minji pinched his side. However, her nails couldn't reach through his thick parka. It seemed like a sledgehammer was needed.
