Oh my God! Why are Naruto and Jiraiya here??! I thought they were both going back to the Leaf village? Did they tag along with Tsunade?

I calmly turned to Tsunade, hiding my fright, "who are your friends?" I was internally screaming as my mind raced from one thought to the other.

Thoughts of if they will recognize me arose. Thoughts of what will happen after they do. Thoughts of how they will react and many more had me sweating. It's too late to run away from this situation. It's too late to hide, as I need Tsunade to help me.

So all I could do was put on a friendly smile and hope that the eye mask helps in disguising who I really am. I would pray, but God doesn't seem to favour me.

Naruto and Jiraiya came closer, friendly smiles on their faces as they reached us. I couldn't even look at them, at Naruto. It's been so long, and a deep feeling of guilt made my stomach feel like a storm.

But finally, after a few seconds, I did it. I looked at Jiraiya, but the piercing stare made me rethink even looking at him.

Then, I glanced at Naruto. He was still 12 and was still in his orange jumpsuit. I know what he looked like, but I haven't been this close to him in years. When I looked at Naruto, I expected his goofy smile that was filled with his will of fire.

But insteast was very shocked when he suddenly started tearing up. Tear after tear, tears were going down his face but he looked at me in confusion. It looked like he saw a ghost.

"Sorry, I don't know why I'm crying." He wiped his tears as everyone looked concerned, even Jiraiya put a hand on Naruto's shoulder.

"Maybe something got in your eyes?" Jiraiya tried to answer, looking me straight in the eyes. He knew.

Naruto nodded, "maybe."

It seemed like Naruto did, but didn't recognize me. But Jiraiya definitely recognized me. This is just great, I'm so dead.

"So Tsunade, who's your friend?" Jiraiya took the lead in asking about me.

Tsunade only smiled, unaware of Jiraiya's suspicions, "she's an acquaintance who I promised to help out."

I'll take acquaintance as our relationship, and I'm also very glad she didn't mention our deal with me paying her for surgery. That would have been an interesting conversation to talk myself out of, sheesh.

"I'm Hitori, nice to meet you," I raise my hand to shake Jiraiya's. I thank my good mind everyday that I didn't use my real name with Tsunade, that would have exposed me and I didn't want that.

Yet.

Jiraiya looked at my hand for a few seconds before finally shaking it. His grip was firm and almost bonecrushing, he definitely remembers me. And is not happy about how things turned out. I'm not either but I know the full story. Jiraiya doesn't. No one does.

I, not being a pushover or completely happy about how things turned out, gave him a handshake even more strong and bone crushing.

Jiraiya did not know that was going to happen, so his expression turned into a slight wince. But he covered it up before Tsunade could even see it.

I rolled my eyes in annoyance before putting on a sweet smile and turning to Naruto.

"And who is this handsome gentleman?" Naruto seemed to have recovered because he showed me a bright smile, "I'm Naruto Uzumaki, and I want to be Hokage one day. Believe it!"

I chuckled as I raised my hand to pat his head, "it's not an easy job, think you can handle it?"

Naruto nodded his head a bunch like a little child, "of course!"

I chuckled before finally turning to Tsunade, "is everything ready on your end?"

She had a more professional face on as she nodded her head, "yes, what about you?"

I gave a smile and nodded, the completely opposite of Tsunade's more serious look, "definitely."

Jiraiya was still staring me down as I talked with Tsunade. But my suffering ended when she turned to him and Naruto, "I'll be busy with Hitori for a few hours, walk around the village and find a place to stay."

Naruto immediately looked bummed out, "how long are we going to stay here?"

Tsunade shrugged, "a few days, maybe three."

Jiraiya looked suspicious again as Naruto looked upset, "three days! But the leaf-"

Tsunade cut him off, "I know, I know, I'll make this quick."

Now I looked concerned, "quick?" There is no way she is not going to take her time, my eyes are at stake. Take all the time you need, we are not being 'quick' about this!

Tsunade shooed my concerned expression, pointing to Naruto as if that would explain anything. It did, but what about me?

Love me. Choose me. Protect me. And my eyes.

"Well anyways, see you." Tsunade grabbed my arm as Shizune followed us.

"Lead me to the place, I want to get this over with quickly and successfully." Me too but you're scaring me.

I led her to my room which I paid a pretty penny for. Yes, we are doing it in a hotel room. Yes, illegally. Yes, I allowed it.

Help me.

She was in charge of getting all the medical supplies and I was in charge of the room and everything else. We were staying three days for a reason.

I was going to have surgery in a few hours so as to not have any food in my system, she came earlier than expected. But those few extra days were to make sure nothing went wrong and to help me around as I will not be able to see.

I could use my other senses but I tend to forget when I'm relaxed.

Sue me.

But I'm fine for now, we are just getting ready. Naruto and Jiraiya won't stay in the same place as me because they can't afford it and also because Tsunade and I don't want them to know we are doing this.

Again, sue me.

A/n I don't know why but I'm feeling devious today. That could mean anything things, all of which are bad for you, my lovely readers. And my teachers. And my friends. And my mom.  Enjoy~
