Sasuke Uchiha is a complex character, his journey is defined by themes of loneliness, loss, and the burdens of expectations.

While he hasn't always been alone in the literal sense, his emotional isolation and the weight of his family legacy have deeply shaped his life and personality.

Experiences make the person, and the person sasuke has become was thought out.

But Itachi made an error.

Hatred will give him a will to survive, that is true. But what will happen is it will become his only will. Hared outshined his other determination to have a good life.

The path Sasukle went down is a path many others have as well. The cycle of hatred will never stop.

That is the life of a Uchiha.

Of a ninja.

Of a human.

A fight is a conversation. If you don't want to talk, you can't fight. A fight is really just a conversation, but it's a louder, more intense way of trying to make your voice heard.

When people fight, it's often because they feel like their concerns, values, or beliefs aren't being recognized or respected, and this becomes their extreme way of seeking validation or understanding.

It's not just about violence—it's a way of expressing something that can't come across in a normal conversation.

Without the desire to communicate or be understood, a fight doesn't really have a point. It's just an empty confrontation.

In the end, people fight because they need to express emotions, frustrations, or ideas that they can't put into words, and sometimes, when they can't talk through things calmly, the fight becomes the only way to communicate.

Sasuke and Naruto communicate by fighting. Words will be shouted and fists will be launched, but on the deeper level, it's more than that.

While fighting, her name was brought up. Whether he liked it or not, she had a profound influence on both of them.

The light at the end of the tunnel, the warmth in the cold. She was the one who gave kindness in the world looking at what was on the outside.

An Uchiha heir and a host for a tailed beast, that's how they were known.

But not to her.

To her, they were just Naruto and Sasuke. Children in the leaf village. Children who have seen too much. Who have too much on their shoulders.

Naruto was the one who brought her up first, and his words only angered Sasuke.

"If she were alive, what would she say about what you're doing now?"

Her name didn't even need to be spoken to know who he was referring to.

They knew.

Her death broke both of them. Naruto was inconsolable for weeks on end. Sasuke was the same, but he had more to grieve than just her.

Sasuke responded to Naruto's words like they were a joke, mocking him for even saying anything.

"She would respect my decision, and would want me to get revenge on her behalf!"

Sasuke was so gone that he would twist what she had taught him into something more selfish. She would never say or ask that of them, and they both know it.

She was put on a pedestal in their eyes, she was the one, if not the most important person in their lives.

"She would never let you do this, she'd try to stop you. Like I'm doing now!"

Both were emotional at the moment. After her passing, they have never even spoken her name.

No one has.

It was almost like a forbidden jutsu, locked behind the closed doors of their hearts.

Even if that was the case, Naruto and Sasuke still had that bond. One that became even more intertwined after her passing.

Unspoken words were common, and what was even more so. Glances of understanding.

They understood each other, but that didn't stop the circumstances from occurring.

Sasuke spoke words of negatively, going after Naruto in order to hurt him. He did it just for that fact.

"What would you know, you never had a family anyway! You don't understand my pain."

But he did. He understood on a level that only he could, that only he could decode. While it was true that Naruto had no blood relation to her, Sasuke didn't either.

In his logic, he couldn't grieve either.

Sasuke knew he was being a hypocrite, but the words just kept coming out.

He couldn't stop, it hurt to say them, but it hurt more to keep it in.

He needed to let it out, he needed to say it, he needed to fight Naruto.

And Naruto felt the same, they both needed it out of their system. Naruto and sasuke welded together by trauma, making their bond deeper than any could understand.

This was their making and undoing.

A/n Here's a little opening into the thoughts of Naruto and Sasuke. But this chapter was mostly for Sasuke as he now knows Ishi is alive. We will get more on Naruto at the later date! Enjoy~
