"Bhai, I have searched the entire database. There is no boy by the name of Karma in BHU."

Ansh barged through the door, breathing heavily and sweating.

Rudra turned around to look at his friend. He was lying on his bed, reading a book casually.

The Scion Of Ikshvaku, Amish Tripathi

"Really? Then who is she dating?" Vaibhav was sitting on the bean bag, stroking the strings of his brand new guitar. He was yet to learn how to play it.

"Why did she lie to me?" Rudra got up, balling his fists. His eyes were fuming again. He cracked his knuckles, and punched the cushion on his bed.

"I have to meet her. And find out. By hook or crook. I have to make her mine. Heck, she is mine already."

Saam. Daam. Dand. Bhed.

He immediately got up and placed the book back on its shelf. He was very possessive about his things and took great care of them; especially his books. He would never let anyone touch or fidget with his belongings. He was an avid reader and a literature addict. As much as he loved reading, he was a talented writer too.

He was passionate, intense and insanely talented, and had many hobbies too. He was the Head Boy of his school in the States. No wonder, he was so sought after.

But now in India, tables had turned. He was hell bent after acquiring the girl he had sought after.

He was keen. He was determined. He was committed.

To his goal.

To her.

"Jhanvi, I just don't know what to do! Where do I hide from him? He seems to follow me everywhere!"

She was distressed. And she shared everything with her best friend, Jhanvi. They were so close that they would call each other's sisters.

Jhanvi was the daughter of one of the Biochemistry professors in the college. But beside her privileges, she was very hard working and would not believe in taking favours.

Her honesty was what made Kalyani befriend her. Both were nerds, sitting together and studying for hours in the library.

They were walking towards the Lecture Hall at the moment.

"Oh, really, is he that obsessed? You sound as if he would just jump out from behind a tree any moment right now!" Jhanvi nudged her with her elbow.

"You never know, Jhanvi. And stop joking; sometimes they may end up being prophetic." She rubbed it off.

"Pathetic. Rather." She continued.

They both burst out laughing.

As they walked through the lawn to take the shortcut, a strong hand with an even stronger grip pulled her back.
