Soon, Riley showed up with Lila, Amy, Kat, and Layla right behind her.
"Do you need anything?" Riley asked.
I shook my head. "Thank you, though."
"Anything you need, just ask." Lila said softly.
"We are really sorry, hun." Kat said.
"You got some pretty amazing friends." Ruka looked at me.
Hiro combed his fingers through my hair softly. "That's true."
I smiled ever so slightly. "I couldn't ask for better friends." I said softly, then looked at Riley. "No one told the guys?"
Amy bit her lip slightly with worry. "W-Were we not supposed to?"
"No, I was just wondering if they knew too."
"Oh, they know..." Hiro huffed.
Ruka and I looked at Hiro then toward the door. Owen walked in slowly. "Hi..."
"Might as well come in, too. I can see you standing back there." Hiro said.
Brody slowly walked in behind Owen. "I came with my brother..." His eyes shifted to me then back to Hiro. "I'm sorry to hear about your mom... I know I'm not wanted here... So... "
"It's cool, blondie." Hiro said.
"HEY!" Ruka snapped.
Hiro's eyes shifted to Ruka. "I wasn't talking to you."
"Don't care. There is no need for insults to blonde people." Ruka rolled his eyes.
"You're not a natural blonde... It's dyed.... Like your brain cells." Hiro smirked.
Riley and I started laughing. "I don't get it." Lila pushed her brows together.
"His hair is dyed. His brain cells died." Riley giggled.
"OH!" Lila giggled.
Ruka let out a deep breath and glared at Hiro. "See what you do? See the shit you start?"
Hiro chuckled. "Yeah."
"Hey, how are you doing, Sky?" Bailey said as he walked in. Ian, Jay, and Derek walked in behind him.
"Damn, full house..." Ruka said.
"I'm doing a little better." I said softly.
"We are really sorry to hear about your mom." Jay said.
"Do you know what happened?" Ian asked.
"Not yet. I'll talk with my dad tomorrow to find out more." I said softly.
"Seems you're in good hands." Derek smiled.
"I am." I nodded with a small smile.
"If you guys need anything, don't hesitate to ask." Bailey said.
Ruka and Hiro looked at Bailey and then each other for a moment. "Wait, you're talking to us?" Hiro asked.
