I looked down for a moment and then began dancing with the girls for a while. I glanced around for Hiro when the guys came over to the girls. I walked towards the bar where I spotted him. "What are you doing?"

"Sipping on some water." Hiro turned to me with a smile.

"Are you ok?" I asked with a hint of concern.

"I'm good, baby. There's no need to worry." Hiro smiled warmly.

I looked toawrds the group then met his eyes. "Did Brody ruin your fun?"

Hiro chuckled as he looked at his glass. "No."

"Did he get under your skin?" I asked. Hiro shook his head. "Then what's going on?" I asked curiously.

Hiro took in a deep breath. "It's nothing." He met my eyes. "Seriously, don't worry, baby. I'm good."

I stared into his eyes for a long moment. His warm smile and his body language said he was ok, but his eyes. His eyes said otherwise. I gave a nod, not wanting to press the issue anymore.

I smiled as I looked around for a moment.. "You like hip hop?" I looked back at him.

"Some. I prefer rock music. Ruka, however, he likes everything." Hiro shoved his hands into his pockets.

I gave a nod. "What kind of movies do you like?" I asked.

"Ruka and I don't watch much tv or movies." Hiro said softly. "We listen to music like all the time."

I gave a nod. "What's your favorite rock band?" I asked as I fully faced him.

"I don't have a favorite, I like a ton of rock music. I'm not picky at all." Hiro smiled. "Why do you ask?"

"I was just curious." I smiled.

Hiro nodded. "You like rock music, what's your favorite band?"

"I actually like all types of music too. But, I like AC/DC, Led Zepplein, Avenged Sevenfold, Bad Omens..." I named a few.

"Bring Me The Horizon?" Hiro asked.

"Yes." I nodded.

Hiro nodded as he stared at me. "I'm really glad you're happy and smiling."

"Why do you say that?" I asked curiously.

"I would much rather see you smile more than be sad." Hiro grabbed my hand. "It hurt seeing you hurt and sad." He looked down at our hands. "Honestly, when I found out what he did to you, I wanted to bash his face."

"Why?" I asked softly.

Hiro's dark eyes met mine. "Because no one, not even you deserve to be treated that way."

I stared into his eyes for a long moment. Hiro is the type of guy who's going to go to the ends of the earth for the person he loves. I always wanted a guy like that, and here is that kind of guy right in front of me. I took a deep breath as I looked down. "Thank you, Hiro... For being there for me. I truly appreciate it... More than you know." I shifted my eyes towards his.
