"Sky!" Riley grabbed my arm. "Come dance!"

I smiled and followed her to the dance floor. I danced with the girls for a while. Even the girlfriends joined in. After a while, the guys joined in as well. Hiro walked over to me. "Care to dance with me?"

"Sure." I nodded and danced with Hiro. We danced close to each other, but didn't touch each other. I felt so at peace, and I was having a good time until Brody showed up.

"Sky?" Brody got my attention.

"What?" I looked towards him.

Brody glared at Hiro for a moment. "I thought you and him were just friends?"

"Brody, just stop... I'm not having this conversation with you anymore. I'm done. I'm not going to keep explaining this to you."

Brody huffed as he looked down. "I made a mistake..."

"You cheated. We went over this." Hiro said. "Dude, just let her be. She's having fun, don't ruin it."

Brody glared at Hiro. "Don't act like you know the situation. You weren't there."

Hiro chuckled as he shook his head. "You're right, I wasn't there. I was sitting outside with Sky." Brody stared at Hiro sternly. "Yeah, I noticed that she went outside, alone. I followed her while you were too busy getting drunk and taking that chick to the bedroom."

"Shut up..." Brody said sternly.

"You forgot all about Sky for some chick that only wanted in your pants to make her own boyfriend jealous, and you let her." Hiro said as he stepped in front of me.

"Hiro..." I said as I softly grabbed his arm.

"Stop getting pissy because she wants to spend more time with friends than you. Face it, you brought this upon yourself."

"Shut up!" Brody tried to swing at Hiro.

Hiro caught his fist and twisted Brody's arm, making him drop to his knees. "Fighting me won't make her go back to you, and it won't change what you did."

Brody looked up at Hiro. "I love her..."

"How much could you love her if you can easily forget her for some chick?" Hiro asked. "Man, I'm not stupid. I know the shit you and Ayden did to her. You're pathetic."

Brody clenched his jaw. "I wanted her to hate me! I couldn't control my temper back then, and I was afraid I was going to be like my old man!" He yelled.

"You're wasting your time, dude." Ruka said. "You fucked up, own that shit. Learn from it and move on. Let the girl be happy. If you really loved her then her happiness would mean more to you than your pathetic attempts to get her back and away from my brother."

Brody looked at Ruka then at Hiro then slowly stood up. "I do want her to be happy..."

"Doesn't seem like it." Ruka said as he folded his arms.

Brody shook his head. "Whatever..." He walked away.

Hiro watched Brody leave before turning to me. I met his dark eyes as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders. Pheobe walked over to Ruka, grabbing his hand and pulling him to her. Ruka looked towards Hiro. "Have some fun, don't let him ruin the night." He spoke in Japansese.

Hiro looked towards Ruka. I looked up at Hiro for a moment. Celeste and Elara walked over to me. "Girl, come on, you need to have some fun. Come dance with the girls." Celeste grabbed my hand, pulling me to the group.

"You good?" Riley asked.

I nodded. "I'm good." I looked towards Hiro, who watched Brody leave before turning away and walking over to the guys.

Phoebe looked towards Hiro then at me. "He strongly dislikes people who cheat, lie and abuse others."

"Has he been in a bad relationship before?" Lila asked.

"Yeah, he has. He knows exactly what Sky is going through... Well, when it comes to the cheating... He wasn't physically abused." Elara said softly.

"Aw, that sucks." Riley frowned.

"Hiro is pretty resilient. He was down for maybe two days, but then he dove right into focusing on the band and he's been good ever since." Elara explained.

"How long has he been single?" I asked curiously.

"For about two going on three years." Pheobe said.

I nodded as I took a deep breath for a moment. The girls continued talking for a moment before they went to the dance floor to dance. I glanced towards Hiro for a moment before looking towards the girls. I had so much swirling through my head, I didn't even know where to begin.
