Anna Hightower was always well-behaved and always caring, anyone who crossed her path melted by her beauty and kindness but also how smart she was she never made a move without strategic planning.
her being kind did not make her a fool she knew there were bad people in the world and she knew she could not trust easily.
she first saw the type of man her father was when he left his dying wife without a second thought when he was given the option for more power, she had put up a fight not wanting to leave her mother in such a horrid state which she ended up with a backhand to the face by her own father's hand.
Even then she still loved her father but her respect for him was gone after that incident they set off to King Landing and she vowed to protect her little sister Alicent with her life from all of the horrors the world had to show including their father and later on she vowed to do the same for Rhaenyra after instantly clicking with her.
Alicent knew she was safe as long as her sister was there beside her as did Rhaenyra, both girls spent most of their childhood being truly looked after by Anna and were so grateful for her. Both girls always went to her in a crisis as they grow up, they will truly understand how deeply Anna Hightower cares for them and how far she will go to protect them.
