Unexpected Love: Viserys Targaryen

"When will the little one be here? It has been forever." Rhaenyra whined as Anna rubbed her belly, feeling the little baby kick.

"Any day now, the maester said." Anna laughed softly as she answered, adjusting slightly as she read some letters. It had been ten months since she and Viserys married, and those months had been blissful.

"Do you think you will have a boy or a girl?" Alicent asked, making her smile. Both Rhaenyra and Alicent had been extra clingy during her pregnancy. It confused Anna at first, but then she realized they were scared to lose her or for her to lose the baby, which broke her heart.

Rhaenyra lost her mother to the child bed, as did Alicent. The two of them were scared to lose their mother figure the same way they lost their birth mothers; they didn't wish for the stranger to take Anna, which she and Viserys understood, which is why the two young girls were always next to her.

"I am not sure, but whatever they are, they will be loved." Anna answered the question finally before standing up with Rhaenyra's help, making her kiss the girl's head.

"Thank you, my little dragon," she whispered before, waddling to a chest in the room while the two watched confused.

"Anna, what are you doing?" Alicent asked, watching as her sister took two large boxes out of the chest and made her way back to them with an excited smile.

"Here, I made them for you," Anna stated, handing Rhaenyra a red box and Alicent a blue box, sitting back down and watching as they shared a confused but excited look before opening their boxes, both gasping when they saw the contents.

"You both deserve something nice. I know things have been tough, and lots of change has been happening. So, I thought a newer wardrobe may do you some good."

"How did you make these? We both have been around basically everyday all day." Alicent asked, making her laugh.

"With Viserys not allowing me to do much as of recent, I have had the time, and I wake up earlier than both of you."

"Thank you," both girls whispered, making her smile.

"Of course, now you both have lessons. Grab your books, and we will begin. Shall we go to the gardens?"

"Yes," both girls agreed, wanting to go outside.

Three hours later, Anna was finishing up teaching the girls when she felt another cramp of the same type she had been experiencing all day.

"Anna, what is it?" Rhaenyra asked, noticing the way her face pinched.

"Um, it seems my water has broken and my labors have started." She answered, groaning at the sharp pain that hit her, which caught her guard's attention.

"Ser Arryk, Ser Erryk, help the queen up; she started her labors." Alicent demanded, grabbing the books as the brothers listened and slowly helped their queen up, making her smile.

"Thank you both, um, I need to make my way to my chambers, fuck."

"Let us help you, my queen." Ser Arryk said, wrapping his hand around her waist so she did not fall as they slowly made their way to the castle and to her chambers.

"I will go get the maester," Erryk said, rushing out of the room as his brother took his place guarding outside the chambers.

"I will go let my father know, then I will be right back, ok?" Rhaenyra told her, looking terrified.

"Go, I am fine, little dragon," Anna assured her as she sat on the bed with Alicent, who untied her dress before Rhaenyra ran out of the room, making her way through the castle and to the Council room, barging into the room and startling the men.
