"Wake up" Rhaenyra and Alicent yelled jumping onto Anna as she slept making her grunt and wake up  startled 

"ow," she said yelled muffled by the pillow "Sorry not sorry," Rhaenyra said before ripping the covers from the bed 

"You're getting married today" Alicent squealed clapping her hands and making Anna smile "Yes I am" She agreed today would be the day she married Viserys and became queen she was happy 

"So get up" Rhaenyra yelled as she hopped off the bed opening the curtains and letting in the sunlight before admiring the blue and pink sky that looked gorgeous with the golden sun 

"You two are chipper I normally have to drag you both out of bed in the mornings" Anna commented sitting up and taking the glass of wine Alicent offered "Thank you little bird," she said

"and normally you are already up," Rhaenyra said knowing Anna woke as the sun woke, she enjoyed sitting on her balcony reading a book or painting as the sun rose 

"Well not every day is a wedding, a feast nor a crowning ceremony" Alicent countered hopping off the bed as a few maids entered the room with buckets filled with hot water

"your usual oils my lady?"  Mary asked walking to the cabinet that held Anna's perfumes and oils

"Yes Marry that would be wonderful thank you," Anna said making Mary nod with a smile and grab the vanilla and Lavender oils setting them on the edge of the bed with a bar of soap and a new sponge 

"do you require help with your bath my lady?" she asked making Anna shake her head no "That is not needed I can wash myself you may leave thank you" 

Anna stood up from her bath undoing her braid watching as the two young girls ran around her room feeling giddy "Have you both had sugar already" She asked making the two laugh

"no we have had no sugar we are just happy" Alicent argued as another maid entered the room holding a tray of food 

"Princess, My Ladies" the maid greeted setting the tray down "I bring muffins and scones do eat up Lady Anna you must eat" 

"Thank you, Claire," Anns said as she grabbed her robe and towel setting them on the small table next to her bath only taking off her nightgown when the maid left entering the bath leaning against the tub 

"do you two have your dresses ready?" She asked looking over her should at the two girls who were going through her jewelry making her smile 

"yes we have our dresses ready" Rhaenyra answered before gasping "I need to make sure my father is up and getting ready" she yelled running out of the room and making them giggle 

"Walk Rhaenyra" Anna shouted before the door shut " Are you nervous sister" Alicent asked coming to kneel at the tub leaning her chin on the rim 

"I suppose I am I am about to become a married woman and queen anyone would be nervous but I am more happy" Anna admitted 

"I wish to find love like you and the king" Alicent whispered and her thoughts went to the young Targaryen  princess 

"Perhaps you already have little sister" Anna whispered back as she glanced knowingly  at her before she ducked her head under the water staying there for a moment before resurfacing and wiping the water from her face 

"here," Alicent said handing her the bar of soap "Thank you little dove"

"Father wonderful you are already up let us get some light in here," Rhaenyra said smiling brightly as she went to the curtains opening them as her father set his book down on the table 

"you are very chipper this morning my dear" Viserys commented making her laugh "Anna said just about the same thing and how can you not be chipper it is your wedding day"

"I am" Viserys assured his daughter as she came to sit next to him on the couch bench "How are you?" he asked catching her off guard 

"What do you mean," Rhaenyra asked confused 

"I mean your whole life your mother and I have been married and it has only been eight months since her death I just wish to make sure you are alright and that you are not hiding your true feelings," Viserys said grasping her hand as she teared up this is what she wanted her father's attention his care  

"do you love Anna?" She asked making him smile "I do" he answered making her smile 

"I miss Mother of course I do but Anna has always been like a mother to me more than a sister or friend. Mother loved Anna she knew Anna would care for me and she does but she also cares for you I thought I would be angry at you for remarrying but I am not because you are marrying a wonderful woman one I love and I know will care for our family"

"Do I wish for Mother to be alive of course but that was not the god's plan this was and I know Mother is smiling down happy that you found love again someone to ground you I am happy Father" 

"I love you Rhaenyra, I know I do not tell you that enough and I am sorry for that but I see you and how much you have tried and have sacrificed being the first female heir to the throne and you will always be my little girl whether you are a women grown with your own little children that will never change I am so proud of you Rhaenyra and I know your mother is too," Viserys said wiping the tears that began to fall down her cheeks 

"come here" he whispered pulling her into a tight hug 

"I wasted so many years not paying attention to you in hopes that I would be graced with a son and that is something I will always regret because I never needed a son I had you Rhaenrya I had my child and my heir" 

"I love you Father" she whispered into his chest 

"I love you Rhaenyra" he whispered back kissing her head
