"The princess is eight and ten; it is time for her to marry," Otto told the council, where many nodded in agreement.
"There is no need to marry off the princess; she is striving in her role as heir; to marry her to some man would distract her from her duty." Lord Beesbury voiced his opinion.
"Exactly, she is a princess, a woman; her duty to marry comes before her duty as heir, and where is the princess if she is doing so well with her duty?" Tyland cut in, making many look at him as if he were stupid.
"You Lannister's certainly know how to speak of a princess." Anna scoffed, quieting everyone.
"Your Grace"
"The princess will marry when the king and I find a match that will be the best for Rhaenyra; her duty as heir comes before being a cunt and womb for a man, and if any of you have an issue with that, I could care less, and you will keep your opinion to yourselves." Anna stated, making Viserys smirk, he loved when she got feisty and protective of their children.
"But-"
"Another word from you, Tyland, and I will have Ser Arryk take your cock, and the matter of a marriage will never concern you again." The words left the queen's mouth, silencing the second son, who gulped, knowing it was true as the knight grasped his sword, ready for his queen's command.
"Do you have any matches in mind for the princess, your grace? Rhaenyra is your heir; she must have her own children, her own heirs, to strengthen her claim." It was Jasper Wylde who spoke this time.
"No, at the moment I do not, but I will speak with my wife on the matter later now; no more on the matter of my daughter's marriage," Viserys told the man who nodded.
Otto went to speak before the doors opened, and Rhaenyra walked in. "I was not aware a meeting was called," Rhaenyra stated, looking at her father and Anna, who smiled at her.
"You had your lessons when the Lord Hand called for the meeting that has proven to be useless, little dragon," Anna answered, ignoring the glare her father sent her way, but Viserys wasn't going to ignore it.
"Watch yourself, Otto. You may be her father, but she is your queen. Glare at her again, and you won't have eyes to do it again," the king spat, startling the man.
"What was the topic of this meeting?" Rhaenyra asked, trying not to laugh in the Lord's hands.
"A marriage for you, princess," Otto answered her.
"Marriage? Why would that concern any of you?"
"It doesn't," Anna stated, adjusting in her seat, feeling the pain in her back worsen.
"It does your marriage will bring a large-"
"That is enough," Viserys cut in his voice, rising as he stood up. "This meeting is at an end," he grabbed Anna's hand, helping her up as she gasped.
"I think that is perfect, my love, because my water has just broken and I need to make my way to our chambers," Anna stated, making him smile.
"Very well, love, let's get you to our chambers," he whispered.
"The baby is coming?" Rhaenyra asked, looking excited, making a few of the adults in the room smile. They were happy that the young princess was happy with the union of Anna and Viserys and the siblings it brought.
"Yes, it seems so little dragon fuck ow. Could you please go inform the maester?" Anna hissed through the sudden sharp pain, walking a little quicker.
"Ok, um, I will go and tell him and tell Alicent, and we will watch the twins. Good luck, love you," Rhaenyra said, kissing her cheek before rushing out of the room.
