"But I do feel the same as you, Rhaenyra."
"You do feel the same? Wait, you love me?" Rhaenyra repeated the words Alicent said, finally getting through her head and her chaotic thoughts, feeling relieved.
"I had a really hard time coming to terms with it to be completely truthful; everything I knew told me it was wrong, my belief in the seven, my father myself even, but I don't know it just," Alicent ranted before pausing, trying to find the right words to express how she was feeling. Her nails began to pick at her nail bed a terrible tick she possessed.
"It didn't feel wrong," Rhaenyra concluded while grabbing her hands so she didn't hurt herself, hopeful that those were the words she wished to say.
"It didn't feel wrong, and it still doesn't because I do love you, Rhaenyra, and I am not ashamed of that, and I never will be." Alicent expressed herself softly. Of course she was afraid of what people would say, especially her father, because she spent years trying to be a perfect lady to follow in her sister's footsteps, but Rhaenyra and hopefully Harwin were worth the risk.
"I love you too, Alicent," Rhaenyra said before grabbing the girl's cheeks and kissing her softly happy to finally feel the lips she dreamt of on her own, but that happiness was short lived, quickly pulling away from her.
"Wait, wait, um, there is something else I need to tell you." Rhaenyra explained looking terrified, which in turn terrified Alicent, who had begun to doubt herself.
"What is it?" Alicent asked, stepping back, feeling scared she did something wrong or that she had changed her mind. She became more frightened as Rhaenyra refused to look at her while not saying anything.
"I don't know how to explain this, and I ask that you hear me out before reacting if you can help it." Rhaenyra waited until Alicent nodded before continuing, "I have fallen in love with you a long time ago, and I have only just recently come to terms with it, but I have noticed that I feel how for someone else I feel about you." Rhaenyra whispered the words, afraid of ruining what may have just started, but she couldn't start anything with a lie. Anna made sure she understood the importance of a relationship starting on trust.
"If you cannot accept that I understand and respect that Anna told me, it would be best if I was honest with you."
"You talked to Anna about this about us and the other?" Alicent asked, thinking back to her own conversation she had with Anna.
"Who else would I speak with about such things?" Rhaenyra countered, and both of them laughed before Alicent spoke.
"I have felt the way I feel for you towards someone as well in these recent months," she admitted, and Rhaenyra felt like she could breathe again, but that feeling didn't last long as she realized that they could be feeling what they felt for each other towards two different people.
"How about we say who our person is on the count of three?" Rhaenyra suggested, and Alicent thought about it for a moment, humming in agreement.
"Wait on three or after we say three?" she asked, making Rhaenyra freeze.
"After?"
"After ok"
"One, two, three."
"Harwin" Alicent admitted
"Harwin," Rhaenyra admitted.
Both girls looked at each other, their answers sinking in, both feeling happy that they were beginning to love the same man. "Oh, thank the gods, it is the same person," Rhaenyra muttered, smiling when Alicent giggled at her theatrics.
"We must tell him to see how he feels for you and me." Alicent stated sternly, and Rhaenyra agreed now the only thing to do was figure out how to do that.

"The Princess Rhaenyra has begun her search for a marriage." Viserys informed the council. Most of the men looked pleased at the news, some even suggesting lords.
"What about Laenor Velaryon?" Mellos suggested looking at the king and queen.
"What about him, Mellos?" Anna asked
"He would be a great match for the princess," the man answered while another scoffed, "Problem Wilde?"
"Yes, Mellos, I have a problem, and I think both the queen and king would have a problem with your suggestion, as it is no secret that Laenor Velaryon prefers the company of a man in many aspects." Lord Jasper Wilde snapped
"Oh, so what of rumors? No man would prefer the company of another man once they feel a woman wrapped around their cock."
"You do realize you speak of the princess?" Viserys asked his hand, clenching into a fist, which made Anna lay her hand on top of his, hoping to calm him some. It would not do good for him if he killed a member of his council without cause.
"I meant no disrespect your grace," the man tried to backtrack, not wishing to anger the king or queen.
"And yet all you are is disrespectful." Anna countered, rolling her eyes and smirking as Viserys chuckled, kissing her head, hoping to calm her.
"Nyke jenitis rūsīr zirȳ ry, issa naejos issi kempa se ache nyke līs jikagon feed īlva riñar" (I am annoyed with them all; my breasts are heavy and I must go feed our children.)
"Olvie sȳrī issa jorrāelagon nyke jāhor join ao istin bisa iksos toliot" (Very well, my love, I will join you once this is over.)
She smiled, relieved she could go and stay with their children, which was much better than this council room with most of these men. She stood up, kissing him softly and excusing herself, leaving the room while two kings guards followed their queen, staying five steps behind her.
-----------------------------------------
"Is the queen in?" Rhaenyra asked Ser Eryk, who stood at his station opposite his brother.
"Yes, princess, your siblings are in with her."
Rhaenyra smiled and thanked the knight before pulling Alicent into the chambers her father and Anna shared. The girls quickly sat next to Anna after greeting the twins, who were less than interested in their presence and more interested in the wooden dragons they had.
"Alicent, Rhaenyra," Anna greeted with a knowing smile as she looked down at Helaena, who was latched to her breastfeeding. "You both are grinning like you have seen the great wonders our world has to offer," she commented.
"We have something to tell you, and we need advice." Alicent explained awkwardly as she messed with her hands, looking at Rhaenyra and begging her to break the news, knowing the girl was more confident than she was, but before either one of them could speak, the king entered the room, kissing his children's heads, including Alicent, before sitting down next to Anna.
"What is going on?" He questioned looking between the three ladies, taking Helaena from Anna once she unlatched from her breast so she could have a break.
"You two can always tell us anything, and we will support and love you all the same." Anna assured the two girls who understood that Anna knew the king wouldn't shame or be angry with the news they wished to share.
"Alicent and I confessed our feelings for each other, but we also have started to fall in love with Harwin." Rhaenyra blurted the news out, looking for any disgust or anger, but all she got was an understanding and supportive smile from the two.
"Is that all I could have told you at the twins name day celebration?" Visery laughed watching as the two girls blushed.
"Look, it is unconventional, sure, but does it truly matter? No, and never has there been a union between House Targaryen and House Strong, and Lord Lynoel is a good man. I am sure he would be fine with the match."
"No, all you two need to do is tell him," Anna added.
"How though?" Alicent asked this time.
"Privately is the best option, and how ever you both feel comfortable with it, just be honest and tell him you both love him but love each other as well, and that you hope he feels the same way, and that you three can be together, but you understand if he doesn't feel the same or wishes for that either."
"OK"
"Thank you, Anna."
