Two years had passed since Anna gave birth to her sons, and they had passed infancy. Now they were heading off to Kingswood to celebrate their second name day, which they all attended.

Alicent and Rhaenyra took their job as Aegon and Aelor's sister or aunt, whatever they were, seriously. They loved the two little boys with their whole hearts. Seeing Anna be their mother made them want to be mothers themselves—not yet, but one day.

Anna was with the child again, expecting to give birth in a month or so, which was exciting as she was certain it would be a girl. So were Alicent and Rhaenyra. Viserys just wanted his wife and kids safe.

"Isn't this splendid? The whole family is off to celebration and adventure in the Kings Wood." Viserys remarked, looking around the carriage. Anna smiled at him before wincing as the carriage hit a hole. making him rub her back in concern.

"Should you be traveling in such condition?" Rhaenyra questioned her, seeing her discomfort.

"The maester said that being out in nature would do me well." Anna responded, smiling at her little dragon.

"Ya, but traveling and being in nature are different, sister," Alicent cut in.

"I am fine, I promise," Anna assured the two softly.

"Well, you will be with your own child sooner than later and make me a proud grandsire." Viserys said, grinning as Anna smiled and kissed his cheek softly.

"One day, father," she whispered, making him nod, not wishing to push the matter, knowing it would do more harm than good, and there was no need to push; she was fine right now.

"Perhaps you can come out on the hunt with me; it has been a while," Viserys suggested, smiling hopefully at his daughter, who bit her lip.

"Perhaps dying boars sound like screaming children in all truth, but maybe some quail or a hart," Rhaenyra countered, happy that she and her dad were getting closer. It had been all she wanted her whole life to be the son he wanted, but he was happy with her being the daughter he got.

"Viserys, you give our son wine, and you sleep in your study." Anna threatened when she noticed her husband slowly lift a glass of wine up to Aelor's lips as Aegon was in Alicent's lap, babbling as he messed with Rhaenyra's hair.

"Yup, no wine for you, sorry, my boy." Viserys quickly said, taking the cup to his own lips instead of the toddlers, making Alicent and Rhaenyra giggle at how whipped the man was for Anna.

"What are you two laughing about?" Viserys asked, raising a brow at the two giggling girls.

"Oh nothing, mighty dragon, just how the thought of you not sleeping by Anna's side sets you right; it's amusing to see the king so scared of your own wife," Rhaenyra giggled, making him smile.

"I love my wife, and I am not stupid enough to piss her off; she's scary," he whispered loudly, which received a shard push to the arm, making him grunt and grab the arm she hit.

See is all he mouthed to the two girls as the carriage came to a stop.

"Lady Johanna was reported to have been abducted when one of Lord Swann's ships sailed through the Stepstones," Ceria Lannister remarked.

"What will happen to Lady Johanna?" Alicent asked, feeling sorry for the girl; she didn't know her personally, but no one deserves to be abducted.

"She is to be sold to a pillow house in the free cities if you believe the rumors," Ceria told her.

"Oh, poor lady," she said softly as Anna squeezed her hand gently, understanding what her sweet little dove was feeling.

"I fear the gods did not make me for hunting. May I sit with you, your grace, my ladies?" Larys Strong said, limping over to them.

"Of course, Larys Strong, right? You are the youngest son of our master of laws, Lord Lyonel, right?" Anna said, smiling and greeting the man.

"Yes, your grace makes it an honor to meet you," he replied, sending her a small smile back that was true. He was surprised that the queen knew who he was.

"The honor is mine. Ember, please bring a chair over for our friend," she said, nodding in thanks to her maid.

"My Lord Husband says that no king has even been able to tame the Stepstones for long; it is an inhospitable place suited for only savages."

"Perhaps the Princess can give us some insight," Ceria remarked as they saw Rhaenyra come in.

"Oh, I'm not sure how I have never been to the Stepstones." Rhaenyra reminded them of their confusion.

"You're dear uncle, is the great mind behind his war, is he not?" The Lannister wife questions the Targaryen Princess.

"I would not know I've not spoken to Daemon in years." Rhaenyra said it.

"Since you supplanted him as heir," the lion corrected the dragon.

"Prince Daemon made his choice; he agreed and supported Princess Rhaenyra's claim as Heir Lady Ceria," Lilly said.

"He made a mess, and the king must put an end to it. Send fleets and men to clear out the triarchy for good," Joselyn Redwyne replied, forgetting who she was talking to.

"But the crown is not at war," Rhaenyra said.

"The crown is at war, Princess. Though your father refuses to admit it, we have been dragged into it by your uncle and the Sea Snake," Joselyn said rudely.

"And how have you served the realm of the late Lady Redwyne by eating cake?" Rhaenyra pondered, making the lady gasp and go to reply before Anna cut her off.

"The crown is not at war. The king has acted. If you got off your ass and stopped listening to drunken whispers, you would know the king acted two years ago and things are going well. You will hold your tongue when speaking to the princess and heir in such a way. Do you understand me, Lady Redwyne?"

"Of course, your grace; I apologize for your grace, Princess," the lady said stiffly.

Rhaenyra smirked at Anna, who winked back before standing up with Lary's help, who noticed her struggling.

"Thank you," she said, smiling at the man and rubbing her stomach before excusing herself and leaving the tent, wanting to find her husband before she strangled some old hag with her rat of a dog.
