"Congratulations, daughter," Otto said as he approached his eldest daughter, who watched as her now husband danced with Rhaenyra, who was smiling brightly like she was a little kid again.
"Thank you, father," Anna replied, giving him a small smile before turning back to watch her husband and now-stepdaughter.
"The King has fallen for you, which is good, Anna. You must keep him happy and give him many sons," Otto stated before she scoffed, cutting him off.
"I will not discuss this out in the open and on my wedding day." She hissed, walking away before being hugged from behind.
"Now I know those little arms from anywhere." She laughed out, turning around to see a grinning Leanor, who hugged her again.
"Congratulations, Anna," Laenor said before yelling as Laena hit her. "She is queen now, Laenor," the young Velaryon girl hissed, making him nervous.
"You two will always be allowed to call me Anna no matter what your father tells you," Anna assured the two sea dragons with a knowing look, which made them beam up at the queen, relieved that things wouldn't change too much.
"Ha, I still get to see Anna, her favorite." Laenor teased his twin, thinking it would annoy her, but his words didn't annoy her; his stupidity did, and she was going to tell him.
"Your words neither annoy nor anger me, brother; your stupidity does, she said. We could both call her Anna. How does that make you her favorite? It is obvious I am her favorite."
"Um," Laenor stuttered, making Anna giggle.
"Now enough of that. I love you both equally, my little sea dragons. No need to fret now if you will excuse me. I am going to go speak with my husband. You two go and dance," she said, kissing both their heads before walking away to where her husband sat at the main table, watching her with a small smile.
"Do you see something you like, husband?" She teased him by running her hand over his shoulder and back as she walked behind him before sitting down in her seat.
"I do, and I must say it is the most beautiful sight I have had the pleasure of setting my eyes on."
His words took her breath and made her cheeks flush before she laughed, grabbing her wine and downing it in seconds, making him chuckle and lean closer, kissing her jaw gently, making her still for a second before kissing him before pulling apart when someone cleared their throat.
"Lord Horbert" Viserys was annoyed, making Anna laugh softly and kissing his cheek. "Uncle," she greeted
"Anna-"
"She is queen now, and you will address her as such." Viserys cut him off, wanting nothing more than to see the man's head roll as he was planning to kill his daughter and take her birthright.
"Of course, how silly of me to forget Your Grace." Hobert Hightower replied tensely as Anna bit her lip, trying not to laugh, before she caught sight of Alicent and Rhaenyra dancing horribly to the upbeat music.
"Excuse me, I wish to speak with someone." Viserys said, kissing his wife's cheek before walking away. Anna stood up as well and walked around the table to stand next to her uncle.
"You were going to say something, Lord Hobert," Anna stated, looking at her uncle and awaiting an answer, making the man nod tensely, not enjoying that the girl who always caused trouble for him now had more power than him.
"Yes, I just wanted to congratulate you. As you are my niece, I am happy that you found a good man to marry, let alone the king. I will admit my shock when I heard the announcement, but this union between House Targaryen and House Hightower is a strong match," Hobert Hightower stated, smiling at her, but she could tell it was fake.
