Harlow huffed as she scrolled through her phone. I looked at her through the mirror and rolled my eyes.

"Maybe if you sit still I can go faster." I said.

"It does not take that long to blow dry my hair." She sighed.

"Your hair is really thick, I need to make sure every inch is dried." I said.

She muttered something under her breath causing me to chuckle.

"All done." I smiled.

"Thank you." She said grabbing a brush.

I laid on her bed and scrolled through my phone as she brushed her hair into a pony tail.

"What made you want to become a dentist?" I asked.

She looked at me before placing a head band on.

"The first thing I've always noticed about anyone was their smile...so since I was so obsessed with my own teeth I figured I'll make a living off of it." She shrugged.

I smiled.

"What about having your own practice? I know you don't plan on working for others for the rest of your life." I asked.

"That's the end goal." She shrugged.

I looked at her and smiled, she must've felt me staring because she locked eyes with me.

"Are you ready?" I asked.

"Yes." She cheesed.

I stood up and rubbed my hands down my clothes before following her out. It's been about a week since I've told Harlow the truth and things have been good.

We don't talk about my other life, and I plan to keep it that way. She doesn't ask questions and that's fine with me.

As for Xavier, we're keeping track of his routine to see the ins and outs of his life. I want that motherfucker in the ground.

"I'm so excited." She squealed.

"It's just a damn strawberry garden." I sighed.

"Imagine picking your own strawberries." She said.

I rolled my eyes, since being with her she has me doing shit I would've never seen myself doing. PICKING STRAWBERRIES?! I'm a fucking millionaire, I can buy her a fucking Vineland full of strawberries.

"We could literally just go to the grocery store." I sighed.

"Stop being a grouch, you'll love it." She said.

I glanced at her before looking at the road. She will be the death of me, and that alone scares the fuck out of me. What the fuck am I doing? What is this feeling that I feel for her?!?!

I shook my thoughts out of my head as I continued driving. We made it to the strawberry farm and you could see the energy burst off of Harlow. I watched as she listened intently to the instructions before she grabbed my hand dragging me.
