Chapter Nineteen

I pulled up to the warehouse and sighed before getting out of my car, I walked in and seen everyone there. All eyes were on me causing me to raise my brows.

"What the fuck is so important?" I asked.

I was livid because not only did I leave Harlow for this "emergency." I didn't realize she didn't have a way home until I was already halfway here.

"It's about Xavier." Ace said.

"Ok and what about him?" I asked.

"So we put a tail on him, and he's been driving by Harlow's house frequently." Min-Suk said.

I clinched my jaw.

"So I did some digging...Xavier and Harlow are related." Ace said.

"He's her birth father." Min-Suk said.

I threw my head back frustrated and sighed.

"How do you know this?" I asked.

"I found a DNA test, when you said dig I dig. I found out a lot of shit, he knows that she is his daughter. He got a DNA test for her when she was 4 after her mother came to him claiming Harlow was his." Ace said.

I began to pace as I continued to listen.

"Her mother is dead, overdose. Xavier sent Harlow to sweet care and continued on with his life." Min-Suk said.

"So what the fuck is he trying to do?" I asked.

"Who knows, he knows that you and her are involved but as for what he specifically has planned for Harlow we don't know." Ace said.

I huffed and rubbed my temples. It will definitely be impossible to keep this part of my life from Harlow now.

"Fuck." I sighed.

"It could benefit us though." King said.

"And how is that?" I asked.

"He won't hurt his only child, Xavier is a man who values legacy. If he's tracking Harlow it's because he wants something." King shrugged.

"This is Xavier we're talking about." Ace said.

"Exactly." Min-Suk added.

"What is your theory King?" I asked.

"Look I could be wrong, if Xavier is what I think he is then he wants Harlow to produce a blood line. Whether it's with you or if it's with force, that's the vibes I get off of him." He shrugged.

Ace rubbed his temples as he looked in deep thought.

"What is it Ace?" I asked.

"I just thought of a conversation my dad and Xavier had. My dad would always joke with me Xavier about settling down and having kids. Always reminded him of carrying a legacy, King is on to something." Ace said.

I clinched my fist close and sighed taking a deep breath.

"And as far as the tail any patterns or openings?" I asked.

"No patterns but he does meet with Lopez every Sunday at the casino downtown." Min-Suk said.

I chuckled.

"Interesting." I said.

"Like I said we can use this as an advantage if Harlow is important to Xavier. We could use her to get to him-"

"FUCK NO!" I yelled.

"I mean he is right, it's harder going after a man with no family." Min-Suk said.
