I rubbed my hands through my hair before I continued looking at the paper work, the club's numbers were raising which meant more money for me. I heard a knock on my door and stood up, I opened it to see Harlow.
"What are you doing here?" I asked stepping aside.
"Decided to just drop by since I was passing." She smiled.
I smiled and pecked her lips before closing the door behind her.
"You just got off work?" I asked.
"Yeah, since I wasn't so tired I decided to come see you." She shrugged.
I smiled before sitting down, she looked out the window and folded her arms. I couldn't tell what she was looking at since the club wasn't opened yet.
"You ok?" I asked.
"Yeah, just thinking." She mumbled.
"Want to talk about it?" I asked.
"No, it's nothing." She said sitting down.
I looked at her and nodded, whatever is bothering her she'll come to me about i.
"Do you want children?" She asked.
"What made you ask that?" I asked.
"Just was wondering." She said.
"Are you pregnant?" I asked.
"No, we're about to get engaged and I need to know some of your views. So we can be on the same page." She said.
"Understandable, I would like a kid or two." I shrugged.
She nodded before she felt her phone vibrate. She pulled it out and answered it.
"Hey." She said.
I heard a knock on my door, I stood up and answered it before seeing Min-Suk.
"You're not going to believe who I ran into?" He said.
"Who?" I asked.
He stepped aside and I locked eyes with her...I haven't seen her in years. Calista.
"Calista." I said.
"Jay, long time no see babe." She smiled.
She embraced me in a hug before pecking both sides of my cheek.
"What are you doing in America?" I asked.
"I recently moved here, my father passed the torch to my brother so. I'm here to make a new connect and ran into Min-Suk." She smiled.
I heard someone clear their throat before turning around locking eyes with Harlow.
"Oh this is My girl friend Harlow." I said.
"Hi, I'm Calista." Calista smiled.
Harlow smiled before grabbing her purse. Min-Suk and Calista began to talk as I walked closer too her.
