One Year Later

Harlow Cole

I sighed as I watched the wedding planner shake her leg nervously, this was the fifth wedding planner in the past two months that we've had. IT'S NOT ME I SWEAR! Jay...his a god damn groomzilla, I thought I was bad but no he wants everything to be perfect. I don't blame him but jesus he's sent at least three of them crying.

"So what happened with the flowers again?" He asked.

"T-the f-floral palace was closed so I sent them an urgent email. They just got back to me and told me that the Azalea flowers will be delayed because it's a spring flower and not a summer one." She stuttered.

Jay huffed and clinched his jaw, I rubbed my hand over his to at least try to calm him down.

"How long?" He asked.

"How long what sir?" She asked.

"Are you dumb or can you not just hear? How long is the delay?" He snapped.

I winced as I watch tears form in the girls eyes.

"They will plant the flowers two months before the wedding and they guaranteed me they will be fully bloomed before." She said.

Before he could respond his phone began to ring, he looked at the caller I.D.

"If it's not one thing it's a GOD DAMN NOTHER!" He yelled storming away.

I looked at the girl who quickly wiped her fallen tears and sighed.

"Don't take it personal, I'm his pride and joy. He just wants this day to be perfect, I apologize on his behalf." I said.

She sniffed and nodded.

"I'm sorry it's just I know how much weddings mean and I don't want to ruin you guys day." She said.

"As long as he and I say I do and walk down that aisle I'll be a happy camper." I chuckled.

She giggled and nodded.

"How about you take a lunch, come back in an hour." I said.

She nodded before quickly gathering her things. Jay gave her a death glare as he held his phone against his ear.

"Aye where are you going? We're not done." He said.

I quickly stood up and walked to him.

"She needs a break." I said.

"Look just get it fucking done, I am paying you mother fuckers a lot of money. I WANT THE WHITE CUSHIONS WITH THE GOLD OUTLINES LIKE WE CHOSE!" He yelled.

I winced as he hung up and sighed.

"Jay." I giggled.

His face soften as I wrapped my arms around him.

"Relax, everything will be perfect." I said.

He let out a breath and nodded looking down at me.

"You deserve the best and you will get nothing but the best." He said.
