Harlow Cole

I rubbed my hands through my hair as I walked out of work, I let the cool crisp air hit my face and sighed. I could tell just from fall weather winter was going to be a bitch, I closed my jacket tighter before I began heading to my car. I squinted my eyes as I noticed someone leaning on my car, what is up with people and my car?

"Ms.Cole?"

"What are you doing on my car?" I asked.

"My apologies, Mr.Cole instructed me to pick you up from work. He's planned a dinner with you." He said.

I scuffed.

"Do I have a choice?" I asked.

"He will not take no for an answer." He said.

I sighed and nodded.

"Also, Mr.Cole is a private person so I request your phone." He said.

"Hell no." I shook my head.

"It's only for precaution Ms.Cole, he's aware of your relationship with Jay." He explained.

I squeezed my phone tighter in my hand and sighed, I quickly opened my phone and sent my location to Ace before giving it to the man. He smiled and opened the door just as I was about to step inside I was pushed back and faced with an angry Jay.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked.

Jay snatched my phone out of the mans hand before looking at me.

"What the hell are you doing?" He asked.

"I am going to dinner with my father." I scuffed.

"Like hell you are." He said.

"Jay, I have questions...I need to figure this out." I explained.

His eyes soften and he sighed.

"I don't trust Xavier." He said.

"I don't either, but I need to do this." I said.

He bit his lip and sighed.

"I'll see you when I get home." I said.

He shook his head and sighed before glancing at my neck.

"You're wearing the necklace?" He asked with a smile.

I rubbed my hands over my neck and looked down.

"It's just something I can fidget with when I'm anxious." I mumbled.

He looked at me and chuckled.

"Be careful." He said embracing me.

"That's it?" I asked confused.

"Mhm, I'll know where to find you're not back home." He said.

He pecked my forehead before walking away leaving me confused, I shook my head before getting into the car. The drive to wherever we were going was long, once we reached the location I couldn't help but to admire the view in front of me.
