I squeezed the engagement ring in my palm as I made my way back to my office. I heard yelling and quickly picked up the pace. I walked in to see Calista and Kat arguing.
"Hey what the fuck is going on?" I asked.
"This bitch thinks I'm going to let her little sneak attack slide." Calista said.
"Fuck you bitch, that's what you get for putting your dirty ass lips on my best friends man." Kat hissed.
Min-Suk held his grip around her waist tighter causing me to sigh. Ace stood in front of Queen who kept her eyes on Calista.
"Ok, Calista you have to go. It's too much tension. Just go downstairs and Stella will patch you up." I said before pinching the bridge of my nose.
Calista huffed before walking pass me.
"Bitch." Kat said.
I sighed and sat in my chair before placing my hands on my head.
"I fucking told you." Ace said shaking his head.
"If you would've kept your mouth closed then this wouldn't have happened." I said.
"He didn't say anything." Kat said.
"Was it you?" I asked.
Kat overheard Min-Suk and I discussing Xavier which is how she knew.
"She got a text from some random number with a location. He said he knew who her father was and..." She trailed.
"And what Kat?" I asked impatiently.
"Relax." Min-Suk warned.
I sigh and rubbed my hands through my hair.
"We went to the location-"
"You didn't think to call anyone of us?" I asked.
Min-Suk locked eyes with me giving me a warning look. I didn't take offense because if he was talking to Harlow like this then I would have reacted the same way.
"I suggested it but Harlow wasn't trying to hear that shit. We made it to the location and some dude answered...he told her everything. Xavier sent him and he gave her the photos and we left." She explained.
"FUCK!" I said slamming my hands on my desk.
I felt the wetness of something in my palm and looked at it seeing the ring sticking out of my palm. I sighed as I gently pulled the diamond out of my palm.
"You're questioning us like you're not the reason for this shit." Ace spat.
"Fuck you." I said.
"Fuck me? No fuck you, as soon as you found out who Xavier was you should've put that relationship to an end. You can't have your cake and eat it too, fucking idiot." He scuffed.
"Watch it." I said standing.
"Look...it's already milk that's spilled." Spade said.
