Sharing a hammock

After another day waiting for my Rite of Passage to begin. If I complete it, I'm will officially be welcomed into the clan and become one of the people. It was getting dark and I along with the rest of the clan started to put up our hammocks. Since it was summer most of the clan hung out hammocks. This was because it was nice out and the stars were a lot more clear to see in the spring and summer.

It was night and it was especially cold tonight. I tossed and turned, filling myself shiver against the cold wind hitting my skin. All the blankets had been given to the younger children and the older ones that decided they were old enough to sleep without their parents. Mates and families with older children didn't need them since their body help will help keep them warm. Living in a metal house, with insulated heating and air conditioning made me a bit spoiled to this too.

Eventually I began to feel warmer. At a certain point I tried to stretch, but found it was harder to do so. At this point I wondered why, upon opening my eyes, I found myself between Eytukan and Mo'at, they were holding onto me rather tightly. Eytukan had his head resting on my chest, his left hand a rest in between my thighs. Mo'at had her chin laying on my shoulder, with her arms wrapped around my waist, with her other hand resting on my stomach. I wasn't cold anymore, but I wonder how I got in this position. I was pretty certain, I was in my own hammock. "Did they move me?"

I was pretty flustered by this intimate position I was in, I never slept in the same bed with a person before nevertheless two people. It was point where they were pressed up against me and I had to go relieve myself. I managed to wiggle free to climb out of the hammock. "Yes!" I whispered in triumph. In my attempt to be free, I awoke Mo'at. "Sof, what are you doing?"

Turning I seen she sat up and was staring at me. "Oh, I need to pee." Mo'at got up from her hammock and walked towards me. "Wait, what are you doing?" Mo'at picked up her bow and arrows. "It's more dangerous at night than in the day, so keep a look out while you go."

"Thanks." I sighed, wasn't really sure if I should be grateful for the gesture or worried to go late at night ever again. I finally got to go and Mo'at was being very observant to everything around us. "Is everything okay?" I walked towards her and she hushed me. "They're gone, let's move." Mo'at grabbed my hand and guided me back to Home Tree.

Suddenly she picked me up by my waist and was running like a mad woman through the trees. "Mo'at slow down!" I squealed as she weaved through trees. I flinched when I heard running in the distance. I turned my head back and saw six Viper Wolves chasing us. "Mo'at!" One grazed my arm with their teeth, which hurt.

Mo'at noticed this and turned around sliding back. "Damn!" She suddenly tossed me into the air. It only lasted a few seconds. Quickly she pulled back her bow and fired a few arrows. Each one hit their mark, striking down each one of the Viper Wolves. I was so impressed by this, I knew that she was a great healer, but also a great hunter, I was taken off guard by it. When she finished she caught me with ease.

Mo'at sat me down on my two feet and walked over to the Viper Wolves and said a prayer for them before turning back to me. "Let me see." I showed Mo'at my bleeding arm. "Come, let's clean this." Mo'at led me to a river, she washed my arm and crushed up a pod looking plant in her hand. She rubbed the paste on the wound and grabbed a big leaf wrapping around my arm. "Thank you." Mo'at smiled in return.

When we finally got back to the camp Mo'at dropped her bow and carried me back to the hammock. She flopped back down with me on her chest, this action woke Eytukan. "Mo'at, Sof?" Mo'at rolled over panting, making me settled between them again. "She needed to go relieve herself, viper wolves." Eytukan seemed to understand her words and looked down at me. "Hi?" I awkwardly smiled at him.

Eytukan scooped me up and placed me back in my original spot. Mo'at climbed back in and was on the other side of me again accepting I was facing Mo'at and Eytukan was snuggling against my back. He smirked laying back down next to me. "Stay close now, it's going to get colder." Mo'at wrapped her arms around me keeping me close. "Yes, we're approaching the cooler season." I nodded staring to feel comfy.

Mo'at laid her head on my chest and looked up at me. "Why are you so soft?" I opened my eyes not knowing what she was talking about. The moment she brushed her hands against my breast and I jumped back. I would've fallen out of the hammock if it wasn't for Eytukan catching me. "Mo'at, don't touch her without warning." Mo'at sat up and glared at Eytukan who was holding me protectively. "I was curious, Na'vi women are usually more firm."

I pouted a bit and turned away from her. "See you've offended her." Mo'at touched my shoulder and I pulled back. "I didn't mean it like that, I love the way you are, I just want to know why you're so perfect." I began to feel embarrassed by the way she was complimenting me. "I'm not perfect, heck you two are perfect, this your lives and I'm just in the background." Mo'at laid back down on my chest. "You're not, you are forever in Eytukan and I's lives." Eytukan piled me against him. "An important, irreplaceable treasure." The two began to cuddle and reassure me.

"This is nice." I sighed feeling the heat and the company from them. Eytukan nodded. "Let's do this again tomorrow." I glanced up and him, Mo'at snuggled closer to me. "Let's do this every night." For the first time in years I felt content. Though I couldn't understand why, or why I was so special to them.
