It's been sometime since I became the advisor to Mo'at and Eytukan. The kids were nine now and were running around like crazy. Loreyu wanted to be a hunter, while Eytukan was teaching the ways of the clan. I think he wants him to be the next Olo'eytkan. Everything was going great. Until well...
"What do you mean you lost my babies?!" I was beyond mad right now as the other Na'vi woman stared back at me nervously. "They were a second ago and they disappeared." I groaned knowing if Mo'at and Eytukan would find out, there be hell to pay. I walked over and grabbed my bow, arrows and medicine pouch. "I'm going to find them, if they haven't gone too far I should be back within the hour, if I'm not let Mo'at and Eytukan know."
I walked through the forest trying to find those two cheeky kids. It was rough though, I hadn't been feeling well lately and the medicine Kamun had been giving me wasn't working. "Yoya, Loreyu, where are you two?!" I continued walking only to realized I had gotten myself lost. "Great, well if I know those two they'll find me soon." After a while I realized it was getting dark. "Where are they?" I felt cold as I continued to walk. "Look here." My eyes widened hearing a voice. "Sky People nearing our territory." A Na'vi grabbed my arm and held me still. A fierce woman Na'vi came walking towards me. "Stupid Tawtute."
"Name!" The woman grabbed my face roughly. "Speak!" I glared at her angrily. "Sofronia te Tsamsiyu Heykinak'ite, Eyutukan sì Mo'at's muntxate. (Eytukan and Mo'at's mate/wife.") The woman pushed my face back angrily. "No one wonder you walk around as a false Na'vi, speaking our tongue, wearing our clothes, taking our positions in the clans, and stealing soaia (family!")
I was so lost by her words. "What are you talking about I didn't steal any family or take anything!" My eyes widened seeing Woai steeped out from behind a tree. "Sofronia?" My breath hitched out instinctual fear. "Woai..." I looked away quickly. "Woai there you are, this monster wander near our territory, should we kill her?" Suddenly I remembered what I came here for. "Wait my kids, all I'm here is looking for my kids, they're lost somewhere out here!" Woai eyes widened. "Children..." The firece Na'vi hissed at. "You dare taint Eywa with your horrid Sky people blood mixed with Na'vi?!" Woai grabbed her wrist. "Let's bring her back with us."
I was roughly thrown over the man's shoulder. "Gah!" Woai hissed at them. "What will you do if she's hurt when the Omatikaya Clan finds us, our blood will be paint!" Woai walked behind them and stared at my face. It showed concern, I was so confused. The fierce Na'vi shoved her away bound my wrist tightly with vines.
When I got to their village, I was greeted by looks of disgust and hatred. I was dropped on the ground and the Na'vi chuckled in delight. "You won't be laughing when Eytukan or Mo'at finds her hurt!" Woai waved them off. "I'll watch over the tawtute, go."
Once they were asleep Woai untied my vines. "Drink." She handed me a liquid. "Why are you being nice?" Woai sighed, leaning her head back against the tree. "I had a lot of time to reflect over my actions and my part in my exile." I blinked in confusion. "Your part." Woai nods in response to my question. "I notice your fatigue and sluggishness, you've been being poisoned." My eyes widened. "How, Mo'at and Eytukan have been watching over me a lot and-!" Woai pushed the cups to my lips. "Who's the person that's always been around that they trust so much?" I suddenly felt and I quickly drank the liquid.
"Kamun, why would he, he's so nice?!" Woai sighed bringing her knees to her chest. "That is what he had you believe, I tried to keep you safe." Woai began to explain. "I tried to chase you off multiple times and I couldn't get you to." My eyes narrowed. "You tried to kill me!" Woai shook her head. "No, everyone was so focused on me, no one had noticed Kamun, behind you with that blade near your throat." My heart, that chill I felt..." My stomach turned. "Yes, he was demon I was trying to kill, Eytukan was a fool. Steeping in front of the blade, thinking I would harm you."
Woai eyes began to held tears. "Why didn't you say anything?" I placed a hand on her shoulder. "No one would believe, I was always saw as the monster Na'vi with the kind mate who always had the patience to deal with me." Woai began to wipe her tears away. "I believe you, I can't believe Kamun would do this." My eyes wandered towards the cup that made me feel better. "He's smart, he knows how to put on a good show." My eyes darted towards the still lit fire. "Do you think he became Tsahìk, if my mother was still alive, it wouldn't have happened."
For the first time, I really felt like I had seen her. "Do you regret it or Eytukan?" Woai shook her head. "I don't regret my son, but I do regret the type of person my mate is." Woai smiled at me. "I'm glad though, to see you're still around." I chuckled. "Yes, I guess he had a hard time with Mo'at and Eytukan watching over me." Woai nodded, before her eyes wandered to my belly. "How far along are you?" I laughed a little as she stared at my belly that had a small baby bump. "Your eyes are sharp, I'm still in the early stage."
Woai stood up and held out her hand. "Come, while they're sleeping." She led me through the forest. "I'll take you back to your clan, they most likely already found your children by now." I nodded as we stepped made the territory, when we're surrounded by Omatikaya warriors. Two familiar voices was heard throughout the crowd. "Sofronia!" Mo'at hugged me tightly as Eytukan stepped in front of me. He hissed at his mother. "Wait Eytukan, there's much we must discuss. Have someone distract your father, it's urgent."
