"So it's been my father all along." I slowly nodded as Woai sat there in silence. "The twins?" Eytukan sighed staring at me. "They're safe we found them, they were napping behind a tree." I sighed in relief knowing they were safe. "Where are they?" Mo'at smiled, "They are safe, I have a warrior keeping a close eye on them."
Mo'at handed me some medicine that she made and began rubbing my belly with some paste like substance. "Does this feel better?" I nodded. "Eytukan, we can't let this slide, he hurt Sofronia, our unborn child and had us falsely exile Woai." Eytukan stood up. "I know, I will handle this, stay inside Home Tree you both as well Sof and Sa'nok." Eytukan left angrily.
From inside the Home Tree we could hear the commotion outside. Mo'at stood up. "I'll check." I stood up. "No, you heard Eytukan." Mo'at gave me a small kiss on my forehead. "Don't worry, I'll be quick." After a while I began to get worried, I stood up and went to go outside when Woai grabbed my wrist. She stared up at me softly. "Don't." I stared back at her sadly. "I can't, I need to know they're safe."
Woai stood up and grabbed her bow and arrows. "I'll go with you." I walked out of Home Tree with Woai. We found the crowd causing the commotion. Woai and I managed to find our way through to see Mo'at and Eytukan both standing in front of Kamun.
Kamun smirked as Eytukan asked him about everything. "Yeah so?" I never seen Eytukan move faster than he did, he grabbed Kamun by his top. "You were slowly poisoning Sofronia, that's something we can't forgive!" Kamun chuckled at Eytukan's words. Mo'at noticed me and rushed to my side. "Sof, you suppose to be inside." Mo'at stood in front of me with her hand on my belly, she growled protectively. Eytukan turned and noticed Woai and I were there.
Kamun began to speak up again. "You know if I didn't take her back to the village, then she could've been found by some Na'vi clan that pitied her." Kamun narrowed his eyes at me. "I couldn't let that happen." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was caught off guard when Yoya and Loreyu hugged me from behind. "Mama!" They squealed clinging to my legs. Mo'at noticed them too and shushed them. "Hush, stay out of sight my children."
I took my eyes off them and stared right back at Kamun. "She isn't apart of this world and is a demon, she would've been dead by now, but you and Mo'at got attached to your little pet." Eytukan hissed angrily. "She's not our pet, she's our mate!" Kamun narrowed his eyes at Eytukan. "Really, she has no queue which means you couldn't have Tsaheylu her, so she is really just a pet."
Mo'at hissed, baring her fangs. "You're wrong, and we were wrong for letting you around her, our children!" Kamun glared at the twins that hid behind me. "Yes, the freaks of Eywa." I kept behind me, trying to obstructively Kamun's gaze upon them.
Kamun backed away. "You made your choice, I'm leaving this clan it has ran out of use for me and especially for a clan that would risk it all for a human." Kamun walked away and smirked. "I think I'll go and see the Ash People I think they would prefer a loyal clan member, instead of pathetic one." My head was spinning from all of this, the nice Kamun we knew was a lie. All the kind words he said, the generosity, his courteous nature it was all an act. I didn't know what was real anymore.
I felt sick, I nearly fell over, but Woai caught me. "Easy." Mo'at took me from her. "Thank you." Eytukan walked towards his mother. "Come, we have much to discuss sa'nok." I watched as Eytukan had lead his mother to Home Tree. The twins were clinging to Mo'at's legs. "Sa'nok! What's wrong with mama?" Loreyu stared up at her sadly. Yoya looked like he was about to cry. "Is mama okay?" Mo'at smiled at them. "Of course my loves, she just needs rest., let's go home."
During that time I was forced to lay in the hammock while the kids played and Mo'at began cooking. I tried to get out of the laying hammock, but the kids caught. "Mama's up!" Yoya called out running to Mo'at. "Back in the hammock Yawne, you gotten way worked up." I huffed, then looked down at Loreyu. "Back in the hammock, sa'nok said rest!" I smirked staring at them. "Hey mama's got you new paint, it's over there." The kids eyes lit up, immediately they dash to play with their new paints.
Mo'at smirked turning around. "Don't make me come over there." I could tell she was trying to be firm, but that playfully smile of hers spoke volumes." I squealed when I was picked up. The kids laughed along with Mo'at. I turned to see Eytukan grinning from ear to ear. "You need to rest." I narrowed my eyes at Mo'at. "That's why you had that smile." Mo'at walked over and kissed my lips. "Don't be mad, we just you to get better quickly."
I sighed knowing they did. I watched the kids play, while Mo'at had returned to cooking and Eytukan went to help her. I sighed feeling a bit bored, that was until we got a visitor. "Eytukan, Mo'at, smell delicious." I turned my head to see Woai walking in. Eytukan smiled seeing his mother, then to me. "I invited her for dinner."
I smiled as she sat beside the hammock. Woai smirked seeing them return to cooking. "Hey, so how has my son been treating you and Mo'at?" Eytukan narrowed his eyes at his mother, in response Mo'at and I laughed. "Great, don't worry." Mo'at hummed a bit. "Let's... see..." Eytukan stared at her a bit hurt, before she laughed. "I'm kidding my mate, he's been wonderful to me and Sof." Eytukan huffed resting his chin on Mo'at's head. "Not funny."
Mo'at waved Eytukan off and he took the hint, backing up. "Sof, you can get out of the hammock for now, dinner is ready." I smiled climbing out. Woai clicks her tongue. "You treat her like an injured bird, she's one of us, don't hold her back." Mo'at shot her a dirty look. "Eytukan..." Once Mo'at sat down with the food, Eytukan cleared his throat. "Sa'nok, Sof is our mate and is pregnant with our child, she's been through a lot." Woai sighed hearing Eytukan's words. "I know she needs rest, but confining her to the hammock isn't necessary, at least let her walk through the kelku."
Mo'at's eyes twitched. Eytukan held her hand and I kissed her cheek before sitting down beside her. "It's okay Woai, she's just like this on the first day, Mo'at just cares a lot and that's one of the many things I love about her." Mo'at's faced turned a different shade and she placed a piece of food near my lips. "I love you too, but please eat..." Eytukan smirked and Woai laughed. The kids began to reach for their food, while they watched all of us curiously. They soon set their sights on Woai and began asking her a lot of questions. Everything seemed to be settling down know and was being to calm for the moment.
