I laid there in the hammock, while Eytukan and Mo'at slept. I just fell a dull throbbing pain but tried to push it back. Soon enough the pain started to turn sharp, causing me to whine. I felt Eytukan kiss the back of my head. "Sof, you alright?" Mo'at sat up hearing Eytukan. "What's wrong?" She placed her fingers underneath my chin and lifted my face up so she could see me. A couple tears were slipping down my face.
Mo'at eyes widened and she jumped out of the hammock. "Eytukan, take her to my hut and I'll get Kamun." Mo'at quickly ran out as the pain got worse. "Eytukan, what's going on?" Eytukan smiled. "You're in labor, come let's hurry."
I cried as Eytukan laid me down in the hut. He rest my head on his lap. He rubbed my sides trying to help with the pain. "Ugh, what's taking them so long?!" Eytukan moved the hair away from my face. "Don't worry, they'll be here shortly."
Mo'at rushed in with Kamun. "Sof, drink, drink!" Mo'at place a cup of foreign liquid to my lips. I quickly did as she said while Kamun tried to calm her. "Easy Mo'at, she's in labor, not dying." Mo'at narrowed her eyes at him, but she rushed towards me when I left out another painfully scream. "I thought you said the medicine would work?!" Kamun sighed in response before checked me. "Mo'at it doesn't take al the pain away, besides it takes time to go through and Sofronia start pushing now.
"You're doing well." Eytukan praised me as I dug my nails into the floor of the hut. "Push." Kamun commanded as I began to push, it was hard. "I can't it hurts!" Mo'at face softened. "I know it hurts, but you're strong, one more push for us!" I screamed as a few tears slipped out. Suddenly I felt lighter and a little less pain. The echoing of cries could be heard from the hut.
I turned to face Mo'at, but her face looked concerned, looking up I seen Eytukan have that same shocked expression. "My baby... what's wrong with my baby?!" Eytukan snapped out of it hearing my distress. "It's okay, nothings wrong." Mo'at finally began to speak. "It's two..." My eyes widened hearing that. "Two?!" Kamun had finished cleaning them and handed them to me. "I'm going to lie down." Kamun quickly left.
I smiled as the two babies made cute little noises as they slept. Mo'at was still in shock. Eytukan nudged Mo'at. "Sorry, two... usually there's never been anymore than one Na'vi baby born at as time, this is very rare." Eytukan rubbed her arm lovingly. "Remember they didn't have a tawtute as a mate." Mo'at smiled staring at me. "True." Mo'at got closer to me and the babies. "Can I see them?" I nodded.
I handed the babies to her. "May I, the Mother's bonding?" I was confused on this until Eytukan spoke up. "Directly after birth, newborn Na'vi perform their first instance of tsaheylu with their mother to form a strong emotional bond and with her." Mo'at stared at the two adoringly. "Since you don't have a queue, may I?" I nodded. "Sure, they're your babies too." Mo'at smiled.
Once it the bond was made, Mo'at had checked the gender of the babies, since with the excitement of their being two of them, we forgot to check. "A boy and a girl." I smiled as the two babies looked so a peace. Mo'at finally handed the babies to Eytukan. "Eytukan, Mo'at, do you mind if we name the boy Yoya?" The two stared at each other than back at me. Mo'at held my hand gently caressing it. "No, why?" Mo'at kissed my hand before Eytukan handed me the little boy who started to fuss. I took my baby and calmed him down. "Well I wanted to name him after my sempu, he died when I was young." Eytukan laid next to me and kissed my cheek. "It's a fine name."
~A few months later~
I was sitting outside our kelku while Mo'at chased the twins around. Eytukan smiled giving me a kiss. I smirked staring at him. "What was that for?" Eytukan rested his forehead against mine. "Everything." The little girl that we had named Loreyu came running up towards me with a flower. "Ma! Mamama!" I giggled at her calling me. "Thank you baby." I took the flower from her and patted her on the head. Loreyu squealed seeing Mo'at coming behind her before running. "I'm going to catch you." The two squealed running.
Eytukan rested his hand around my waist and I leaned my head on his shoulder. I glanced up and he looked deep in thought. "What's wrong my mate?" Eytukan heard me and turned his attention towards me. "Oh, I was thinking the babies are no longer breastfeeding, so why don't we have my father watch them for the afternoon and tonight." I blinked thinking about it, as I was doing so Eytukan had moved me into his lap. "Sure, why, but the sudden request?"
Mo'at chuckled waking over as she sat down beside Eytukan, while Yoya and Loreyu were now playing in the mud. "Well, we hadn't had you all to ourselves since the twins were born and... we were thinking." Eytukan finished what Mo'at was getting at by nipping my ear. "We missed having you." Mo'at smirked as her tail coiled around my ankle. "He means really missed having you." I blushed hearing their words. "I get it..."
The twins came up to me, they were filthy. Covered in dirt from head to toe. Yoya pointed towards my face. "Red! Face!" I smiled softly as the two behind me laughed, I turned back giving Mo'at and Eytukan a look. "It's just hot, why don't you two have a bath in the river before you head to your grandfather's." The two laughed as I picked them up. "Come on." The two clung to me smearing mud on my face. "Someone's in a hurry!" Mo'at called out. I didn't even look ah them, but called back. "Not another word!"
