I heard rumors that we had a new Na'vi wanting to join the clan. I was so excited to meet another Na'vi. I could see Eytukan talking to someone. My eyes widened seeing who it was. It was my older brother Alar'at, I was surprised to see him after all these years. I was about to walk over until and handed grabbed my wrist and pull me down. I quickly realized it was Mo'at, she had pulled me into her lap, wanting cuddles. Ever since she gotten pregnant she's been very clinging towards me. It seems like she gets even more clinging with each passing day.

I kissed her cheek and I began to run my fingers noses through her braids. "Hello, my darling."Mo'at hummed resting hers on my hips. "Hello my yawne." I smiled when she rested one of her hands on my lower back. I turned my head to glance back at my brother, to which Mo'at noticed.

When he saw me his eyes widened. He gave a small smile and waved. I was conflicted on one hand I felt happy to see my brother and the other I was hurt that him and my mother left me, all those years ago. "What's wrong?" Mo'at questioned noticing my saddened eyes. "That's my brother." Mo'at's looked shocked.

Alar'at seemed to excuse himself from Eytukan and walked towards. "Excuse me, may I borrow Sofronia for a bit?" Mo'at grip tightened a bit, she was not too trusting of him. "Mo'at, I'll be okay." Mo'at in the end reluctantly let me go. "Be safe." I nodded back at her before taking a walk with Alar'at. Soon enough we arrived at a meadow, we sat down on a log and began talking.

"Sofronia, do you remember what happened that day?" I nodded slowly. "Yes! All of you left me!" Alar'at stood up. "We had no choice, especially after they killed sempul." My eyes widened. "You lie, you could've taken me too!" Alar'at had me take a seat. "No we didn't, especially when the RDA found us near the river." Immediately I seen my brother had tears in his eyes. "We were happily playing in the shallow end of the water, when they appeared." I stared him quietly wanting to know more. "Those monsters didn't care that we were just children, they were about to kill us when sempul jumped in the way." My eyes softened hearing that. "We couldn't save him, the bullet pierced through his heart, you were crying, I was crying our Sa'nok had to pull you away from him." I began to feel sad hearing this. "The RDA was on us, Sa'nok put you in that metal box to keep you hidden and she sent me away to the other direction." When I heard that I feared the worst. "What happened to Sa'nok?" Alar'at breath hitched a bit as the tears rolled down his face. "She's here, sa'nok is trying to convince herself to see you."

I stood up and turned to him. "Where's Sa'nok?" Alar'at stood and guided me to her. We arrived to more of a flowering area. "Okay, Heykinak this is one of the most important days of your life, but I don't know if I can face her." I sighed as Heykinak was frustrated, running her fingers through her braids.

"What is poor excuse for hair, you don't where no braids?" She lifted up my hair. I laughed a bit hearing her frustrations at the mere sight. "Well I tried to remember the way you did them, but I couldn't quite get it right." My mother ran her hand through the braids. "Honestly, sit down I'll braid your hair." Alar'at chuckled at the sight. my mother hand kneeled down and began to undo the uneven braids. She took out comb made strumbeast bone and began to brush my hair. "You grew up well, you have many beads on your songcord, you must tell us of your story later." I hummed feeling relaxed, it felt like I was a child again, reminding of the first time I asked sa'nok to braid my hair.

"You have mates now?" I nodded with a small smile. "Yeah, they're great." My sa'nok sighed. "I'm sure they are, but I still can't believe they let you walk around like that." Alar'at snickered in response. "Yeah, your hair is so curly and everywhere." I huffed. I tried to kick but he moved away. "Knock it off you two, I'm about to start braiding and adding beads." Alar'at smiled as he helped Sa'nok pick out the beads. "I'm sorry." I was confused for a second. "You must've been so lonely and scared, after the incident Alar'at and I are taken in by another clan, but for days I wandered around, I couldn't find, I assumed the worst."

I could hear her voice crack and I could feel the tears form into my eyes. "Then I heard the Omatikaya had a human advisor, I knew it had to be you, I'm so glad you're safe." I felt her kiss the top of my head. This made me nostalgic since she did that every time I came back to our home or when she put me to bed. "There, you're all done."

She guided me to the river and I stared at my reflection. I seen my hair in proper braids for the first time. It was like stepping back into my past. "You were always so happy with these." nodded. "Yeah, it made me feel closer to you guys." My sa'nok picked up on what I meant. "Sofronia you are Na'vi to us, you're not like those monsters, your my daughter and I will not allow you to feel like you don't belong." Alar'at hugged me. "Yeah, listen to sa'nok, you're not exactly human, you were raised a Na'vi, besides you're my adorable little sister."

"Yawnetu?" I turned seeing Eytukan walking towards me. "They're right, you're an honorary Na'vi, you were raised and accepted into our clan as such." Eytukan cupped my face. "Hey!" I jumped seeing my brother get in between us. "Back off my sister, she maybe your mate, but back off, it's been a long time since we spent time with her." Eytukan narrowed his eyes as my brother did too. I laughed nervously at the awkward tension, before realizing something. "

"Wait, where's Mo'at?" Eytukan looked behind him. "You left here alone?!" I went towards where Eytukan came from and I was grabbed. "Eek!" I glanced up and saw it was Mo'at grinning. "You!" Eytukan began to laugh seeing Mo'at's grin and the shocked look on my face. She was apparently behind the tree, waiting for me to walk by. "Mo'at wanted to surprise you." I sighed placing my hand over my chest. "Yes, and my heart nearly leaped out from my chest." Mo'at kissed my lips gently. "Sorry, my Yawne." Mo'at eyes widened as her hands ran through my braids. "Your hair... it's in braids." I nodded, grinning cheerfully. "Yeah, sa'nok did it."

I saw her pout a bit and Eytukan noticed it too. He gave a small smirk, as he walked towards the two of us. "Mo'at don't pout about it, she looks beautiful." Mo'at clicked her tongue crossing her arms. "She does, but... I miss her fluffy hair... it's so soft and I love it." My eyes softened at her response. "I know, but hey who says I have to wear braids all the time, I can alternate between wearing my hair natural and in braids."

Alar'at walked over and pulled me back. "Come on, Sofronia we have so much to catch up on." My sa'nok walked over to him. "He's right, but Alar'at first we must settle in to our new home." Unconscious a huge grin spread across my face. "You two are joining the clan?!" My sa'nok nodded. "Yes, we'll be living here with you." Alar'at smiled in response. "Of course, you better get use to us hanging around."
