It's been a month. A whole fucking month of peace, unsettled feelings and what not. I haven't talked to him all this while and all I know is that he is alive. And through Ahana.

I was an idiot for thinking good for him even for a fucking second just because I thought he might try to take a step forward towards this but I was wrong.

Dr Shreya, you were absolutely wrong! Now, I knew what to expect or not. Being at a distance is the only way for me to maintain my peace rather than fucking up my mental health.

"Mam, the patient is here." My chain of bought broke with Natasha informed me about the appointment.

I nodded to her while I corrected my posture and she smiled.

After continuous appointments, I was now exhausted. I took the last sip of my coffee as I gathered my stuff and moved out of my cabin.

I inhaled the fresh air and went towards my bike. I slid on the helmet as I ignited the engine and moved to Ahana's restaurant.

In no time, I was at her place. I opened the door and entered her restaurant.

"Can I get a choco lava cake and a chicken quesadilla please," I said to the receptionist and she nodded while writing it.

"And please send it to Ahana's cabin," I said as I left the counter and moved to her cabin.

"Ah! Lovely. See she is here." I heard her saying this the moment I entered her cabin.

I saw a lady in her 30s sitting there and all I could say looking at her was that she was not well, very much disturbed and needed help.

"Mrs Singhania meet Dr Shreya Malhotra." My name sounded foreign but still, I forwarded my hand for a handshake and she smiled.

We three settled in the chair and Ahana started describing everything. So, basically Mrs Singhania was a depression patient which was healed and her mental health was fine again. But from a few weeks, she started to have nightmares again and now her insomnia has kicked in.

"Mrs Singhania. Do not worry. Everything is gonna be alright. I will ask my assistant to give you an appointment and you please give a visit too." I kept my hand to assure her and she me her warmest smile.

And then she left.

"Kya hai?" Ahana spoke raising her eyebrow but I was busy eating.

"When is Ruhana gonna come? I have to take her." I spoke while taking a bite. I don't know when that bastard is gonna come back but who cares so, I and Ruhana are gonna have a girl's night tonight.
