"I am honoured." The words rang in my head and my heart wasn't beating at normal heart.
He was too close to me and hair on my body rose due to the proximity. My hands reached my earlobe where he had rubbed his nose.
I'm doomed. Purely and utterly doomed. His cologne was captivating enough and now my brain is just clouded with his fucking presence.
I pushed the duvet off me because sleep wasn't coming tonight. I picked up my phone to see the time and it was 2:00 am.
This was now getting frustrating. Why is he all over me and his mere touch is consuming me? I looked at the bedside table to grab water but it was empty.
I got up from bed and put on my slippers to get water from the kitchen. I twisted my room's doorknob and moved out.
The moment I stepped out something made me stop in my steps. I heard someone's groaning. I tried to listen to the source and it was from his room.
I moved closer to his room's door and glued my ear to hear what exactly the sound was. It was just some groaning like someone in pain.
I knocked on the door to see if he was alright. "Mr Malhotra?" I knocked once twice and thrice but no one answered.
Panic in me rose and now I was concerned. I swallowed hard and twisted the knob of his door and it clicked in a moment. It was open.
I pushed the door and flew open. My heart was pounding inside but I walked inside. The room was giant. I walked a little way and saw him lying in the dark with just a little light from the lamp.
I witnessed his body shuddering in different directions. And I walked further and he was shivering and sweating badly. I noticed the switchboard near the bed and clicked it to turn it on.
The lights turned on and I saw him having a nightmare. I quickly sat beside him. He was breathing heavily.
"No No, I can't." He kept on murmuring these lines. My doctor instincts kicked in and I quickly observed his every action.
