Meanwhile, Joong made a trip down to the mortal realm with Pond and Phuwin. They visited Daonuea's old cottage, a place filled with bittersweet memories. As Joong stood alone in the cottage, he took in a deep breath, the familiar scent bringing a flood of emotions. His eyes started to fill with water as he recalled the precious moments spent with Daonuea.
Outside, Pond and Phuwin gave Joong some time alone, understanding the significance of the place. They wandered through the garden, admiring the flowers and the peaceful surroundings.
Suddenly, a terrifying roar shattered the tranquility, and the whole forest shook violently. Phuwin, caught off guard, almost fell, but Pond swiftly caught him, pulling him into a protective embrace. Pond's senses were immediately on high alert as he drew his sword, scanning the area for any signs of danger.
Joong came rushing out of the cottage, his expression a mix of concern and determination.
Joong: "What was that?"
Pond tightened his grip on his sword, his eyes scanning the treeline.
Pond: "A beast, likely from the demon tribe. It must be close."
Phuwin, still in Pond's embrace, nodded, his face pale with worry.
Phuwin: "We need to find it before it causes any more harm."
Joong's eyes narrowed with resolve as he took the lead.
Joong: "Let's move quickly. We can't let it threaten the mortals."
Together, they set off into the forest, following the path of destruction left by the beast. As they ventured deeper, the sounds of the forest grew eerily quiet, the usual chirping of birds and rustling of leaves replaced by an oppressive silence. They knew they were getting closer to the source of the disturbance.
Dunk was still in hot pursuit of the beast, his eyes locked onto its retreating form. The forest around him blurred as he focused solely on the task at hand.
As fate would have it, Dunk and the trio's paths were about to converge, their destinies intertwined by the threat lurking in the shadows of the forest.
